My first mod ever had a mechanical switch. Actually, the whole thing was mechanical. The switch was very easy to maintain and there was no soldering or wires in the whole thing at all. I've been spoiled by that, and this looks like something that I'd be very satisfied with. Mechanical VS. Electronic... I mean... mechanical wins hands down... there's just no comparison. There's way too much that can go wrong with E-cigs that have electronic parts all around. Good job, it looks great :) How does it vape?

A parts list? Lots of brass!

Really though, 5/8" brass tubing and brass strip for the body. Noteworthy for the switch is a section of presta tire valve and 2 valve nuts to give stability to the thin brass. Also the brass carpet tack button is soldered to a lock nut with the nylon removed-- surprisingly strong, and very nice to press.

I'll try to get some internal pics tomorrow.

MisterD, The valve was there the whole time, just not getting the proper attention. It's the center pin in the connector. My insulator came apart, so i replaced with a 510 refillable carto one, which is a bit loose for the center pin but better quality rubber . Adding a tiny o-ring (like Dreams uses for hose fittings in her nico-drips) around the center pin makes for a nice springy seal. Much more responsive in controlling the airflow.

And Xanax, it vapes like a charm, fuller and richer than my 5v regulated. 2 batts get me through the day

Ya, well don’t let it go to your head, you’re not working for Mr. Westinghouse yet. Edison says it’s past midnight there, get to bed so you can work on getting us more information and photos and don’t worry about getting anything patented or your money.

And don’t argue about what time it is while you drop all that silly AC stuff; DC is the future of power distribution just like ecigs.
