brass/chrome 510 connector problem, looking for a new mech mod

Hi All,
I need a little help finding my next mech mod. I purchased a Chinese GG and my AGA-t2 stripped the 510 connector. I purchased another top cap and it stripped it again. I was even being more careful this time, and it still happened.

So now my question is, should I look for a mod with a SS 510 connector? If so, does anyone know of one that would be good for under 100 bucks?

Thanks for any help you can give me. I'm kind of shocked that the chrome plated brass 510 connector would be so fragile, but it is a knockoff.

Brass is a better conductor but any material can be used. If you're stripping the threads, it's probable you're over tightening the device being connected.

This. I have been deliberately rough on my GG clone and the threads have held up nicely.

Go for SS. As long as the center pin is brass or copper, it'll be fine. There is a lot more surface area conducting on the negative section of the 510. Never had a SS 510 connector strip.
