i think you can blow it out just like a flooded addy. just remember to prime it before you start to vape.

could you explain the whole priming attys thing please?

and i think you could probably use a gentle cleaning method (ie rinsing under barely warm water and drying) to get rid of some of it

I would not recommend using water.. at least not tap water!! If you must, I would use distilled or purified water. The additives of chlorine and flouride(however you spell it) have a galvanic reaction with the nichrome element and increases the breakdown of the element which lessens the lifespan of the atty.
I recommend blowing the atty out real good, then using a clear drinking alcohol like vodka, absynthe, everclear, or pga. All you would have to do is drop a few drops of the alcohol into the atty and let it soak for ten minutes. Then, blow it out real good.. starting from the threaded end and a few times from the cart end. Let it sit to fully dry out for a few hours and your ready to prime the atty and move on.
To prime the atty, all you do is decide what juice you want to start vaping. drop two to three drops of that juice directly on the bridge of the atty... (If you have a two peice with the cart and atty combined, use a syringe and supply a good amount about the same as two drops as low in the filler as possible. Then, with the cart-atty off of the bat.. blow with moderate pressure through the cart for a few times... This ensures that you have the bridge good and wet.) When you start vaping.. you want to make sure that you primer puff the first few draws, at least. This is a three or four successive draws (quick draws) just like when you would be liting your analog and do that quick couple of draws to excite the flame to lite the tobacco. This is to make sure that the liquid gets a chance to equalize under its negative pressure in the cart and the wicking effect will properly supply the ceramic bowl at the bottom of the atty to cool the element.

Anyway, thats my $0.02 worth.. Happy Vaping

new attny?
blow primer liquid out from battery end into paper towel.
Flood atty (hold sideways, drip verrrry slowly on the rounded bridge until liquid runs off the side) with your eliquid of choice (if you have plain PG or VG that works, too). Turn bridge-side up and let things soak in a second.
Blow out.
Flood again.
Blow out.
Clean/dry threads with papertowel or lint-free cloth squished up so you can twist it around inside the threads.
Attach battery and cart, vape.

The first few days, you're going to want to fiddle and check the cart frequently to make sure you're not getting anywhere near dry but you don't want the cart so full that it floods your atty and then leaks into your battery and kills it. After you get the hang of it, you'll immediatelly be able to tell from the subtle change in taste or draw when it's time to top off or use a new cart. (definitely for the first few days clean the battery threads frequently so you can see how much condensation gets on there - your goal is little to none)

When I first started, I was finicky, rinsing the attnys, blah blah blah. Then I stopped doing anything to them. I'm still on the same 2 everyday attys 160 days later, and have 3 others that have flavored carts on them that I use a few times a week each. Lost 3 batts in 6 months, lost zero attys. I use genuine SMOORE parts or Intellicig EVO parts YMMV

Hope this helps!
