Ok well I posted this in "Atomizers" section but it seems like theres hardly anyone in there, figured I'd post it here.

I recently bought a 306 bridgeless online and it was super leaky. Was limited to only a drop at a time, because anything else I would drip in there would just go out the air holes and all over my
PV. So I ordered from a different vendor this time, and got 2 Smoketech 510 bridgeless attys.

Theres a big difference between the two though, and I need some advice here lol. When I looked down into the 306, it was just a coil down there, with some (faulty) insulation around the sides, so it was simple enough for me to realize "just drip in there" (first time dripper). With the smoketech though, theres a little world down in there and I don't know what I'm looking at. Heres an image

Is all of that stuff ok to vape? Where do I drip in that thing? Should I remove some stuff? It just looks like plastic-y/filler stuff that would diminish taste, but dripping is supposed to be the best flavor possible. Help a noob out?

I have debridged atty's myself and the picture you have up there looks like what it looks like when you first take the bridge off. I personally take the wicking material off. (which is what the white stuff in the middle looks like) I wouldn't remove it though because it apparently came with it for a reason. I would drip right in the center. I'm sure the coil is under the wick.

That's a normal 510 bridgeless atomizer. You can see the coil below the silica wick, the coil is in a small ceramic cup, and the cup is then surrounded by metal mesh. The metal mesh is what holds & wicks the juice to the coil, and the ceramic cup is there to give the coil a safe place.

well ok, idk what all the polyfill crap is doing there, mine just have a cup and coil but ok i'll take ur word for it.

The main difference between the 510 and 306 atties... is with the 510 the tube is part of the atty, while with the 306 the tube is part of the drip tip. Thus, with the 306 you can look right at the coil (on a bridgeless) under magnification and see what is going there as far as if it needs to be cleaned, etc. But, some prefer the 510s.

What 306 did you get?

I have used Joye 306 atties in the past but now use just cisco atties, and I don't really have many problems leaking. My main vape has leaked on me a number of times, usually when I hold it upright to put more juice in it while it already has juice in it, it has leaked. But, not that much and, I just realized today that all my other juices, have NEVER leaked that I can remember. So, it is just a matter of how you use your 306.
