Hey thanks Shan...I read about this months ago and saw a video from (some cool Oriental dude ). I drip like a leaky faucet every day and have been getting that burn taste too often lately. I just pulled em out of two reg 510 and one l.r. 510 for the ego. What a nice difference. Thanks for reminding me girl.:)

sa'll good cr12. i understand ya :)

i like to leave the wick in the coil so it holds the liquid better. if you get really good atties, the wick that is in the coil is made of 100% Silica, which doesn't burn or char :)

Yeah, the wick won't burn or char but juice will (especially sucralose sweetened juices). That's why you really need to get out as much wick as possible and do dry burns/blowouts.

LOL @ some cool Oriental dude!!! That's Phee (phee303 on youtube)

Yeah dripping.... mmmm *looks to see if atties are done drying* :pop:

And yes, pulling any old atties, DEF improves them drastically. NP for the reminder hun ;) I tend to forget great things from time to time. Just slap me a few times, wait no on 2nd thought I might like it. :p Just poke me with a stick :)

sometimes ppl need to have a few or take one to the head before they can do things like this. Me however I get half weetawdid when I partake in those and attempt anything. This would explain why I sucked a hot wick down my throat 2 nights ago. It must have been traumatic, cuz I'm just remember that it even happened, LOL!!!

I never thought of a dentist pick... well then again it's good I don't have one, I'd prob pick my teeth out of my face (some people bite their nails, I pick my teeth... okay and I bite my nails)

I've seen this mentioned a couple times but seeing the video right there, finally made me try it out on a couple nasty tasting atties. What a difference, Thanks!!

Used a dentist pick to start the wick away from the bridge. It's pretty quick to get the hang of, even after a few cold ones. :p:party:

i just removed the bridge and wick from my LR901 atty, stuck it on my homemade PT, and good gravy the flavor is absolutely AMAZING!!
Did the LR901 atty have the silver ring around the bridge, and did you have any problems getting the bridge out?

I've seen how to remove the bridge on a 510, but the 510 doesn't have the silver ring around the bridge.

I did a 306 lr and it seems to work fine, its a little harder to get the bridge out because that silver ring holds it down, but it works.

I have done this to every style of atty I own. It works great with all of them, so far that I have experienced. Some bridges are a little harder to remove with out pulling the entire coil housing out(learned that the hard way) but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy on any model atomizer. Long pointy scissors and tweezers are your friend.

I have found the quality of juice makes a world of difference. I just ordered some juice from FSUSA and now my coil doesn't flood like it used to. I would always head a crackling and popping with the other juices and had to "cook" them for about 10 seconds before I could vape. The thicker juices, like I got from FSUSA, work much better on the bridgeless atty. I am also able to use more drops because the coil doesn't get flooded as easily.

If you aren't getting the type of results you want from pulling the bridge, it may be your juice. FSUSA is a good place to try and I am sure others here know of places which don't sell the watered down juice. I recommend grabbing a small bottle and trying again. It really makes a world of difference.

Hey all. So I cracked open a new 510 atty today, I think it's 3ohm...the second of two that shipped out with my RoughStack.

Since for many days now I've been dripping directly onto a de-bridged atty, I wanted to see if there was a big difference. Yes, there is as people have said. With a bridged atty, I get a weaker (but still nice) throat hit, and the vapor production is a bit less, and flavor is great. Now I imagine there is going to be some variation from atty to atty even of the same value, so as I do this comparison more with attys I receive in the future I will update. But I can say going from a bridgeless to an untouched atty there is a definite difference, bridgeless being the better experience for stronger TH, larger plumes of vapor, and a better "pop" in the flavor. Having tons of fun with this ya'll!!!

Edit: I do want to mention that for my experience with this subject so far, I feel I need to drip more often onto my bridgeless atty versus the bridged. I suppose that would make sense because the bridged atty has more mesh, plus there's a wick material that hides beneath the bridge...both of these factors would hold more juice. As well, I would assume direct dripping to the coil would allow for more rapid and hotter heating of the liquid, causing faster evaporation (although producing massive awesome plumes of vapor). What do you feel?

OK. I just did this to the very first atty I've ever owned -- I just started vaping about a month ago. It's a Cisco, Low Res XL for an 808. I've sucked on this atty with a drip tip for the last 8 or 9 days, and all of a sudden it turned nasty.

After removing the bridge, as instructed, I cleaned it with hot water, then white wine vinegar agitation in a very small container, then hot water forced through it again, swung it in a sock, and blew it out with a can of computer dust remover compressed air. Then I dry burned it a few times.

It is drying out for a bit now while I'm watching it :pop: before I try to add some juice.

I'll let you know how it goes.

Thx for the video, Shan B!!!!!!

For some reason, one of my 4 debridged atomizers is a spitter. It pops once or twice when I first press the button and spits out a couple tiny drops of hot e-liquid that leave behind vapor trails. It's pretty cool to watch, actually. Just not if it is pointed at your face. I love bridgeless/wickless, but I also approach it with caution and an "I'm doing this at my own risk" philosophy. My other three have never done this unless flooded. This one particular atomizer, though, is a deadly volcano.

LOL King, my one standard is a spitter too. Gotta love the pretty volcanic action they produce, but Yes, this is a do at your own risk. If you burn ur eye clear out of your socket, zap yourself, fry a battery, or kill an atty, don't say you weren't warned.

PS
I know from experience, it isn't bright to look straight down into an atty right after dripping. That stuff is an eye scorcher!
