Brilliant idea for cotton users!

Cotton dry hits are the worst, not only because it is one of the most foul tastes ever, but if you're out of the house you may no longer have a usable wick.

Here's a pro-tip I found- carry some with you in the unused space next to the feeder tube for on-the-go wicking:

I carry some cotton there and can rewick a microcoil without using magnification. That's an accomplishment with old eyes.

I do the same, and I store it in a tony zip lock baggie that a drip tip came in.

Great idea but wouldn't work for me--not at work anyway. By the time I get to skidding timber in the morning, my hands are already greasy from checking fluids and such. My nice organic cotton would look like a black booger by the time I'd rolled it into shape.
I keep one of the Empire mods bridgeless 510 attys in my lunchbox in the unlikely case I need a replacement for my RM2. Actually did need to use it once when I'd unwittingly swapped the caps on my RM2's the night before and couldn't understand what my problem was.

I keep spare cotton there too and it has come in handy on many occasions. sometimes you don't realize your wick is shot until your faaaaar away from home. ive tried to fit a spare 510 atty in there but even the shortys I bought don't quite fit right

Nice idea! I actually carry my spare cotton in the second slot in my battery case. I drain batteries like whoa, but I haven't (yet) needed more than one replacement for a day.

I carry an extra battery, an extra bottle, and extra cotten in a battery case. Perfect even if I am out for a few days.

I could have used this today. I dry burnt a cotton wick in the airport, All my supplies where in checked baggage. I just kept vaping, started getting flooding problem, end of wick fell off and was blocking the hole.

I haven't needed them...but I have white cloud disposables I travel with.

I just put 1/8 cotton ball behind the bottle instead of above the bottle. Works great also.
