Bringing e-cigarette to Argentina

Hey!

I'm travelling to Argentina this summer, and I've read that e-cigarettes are banned(?!) there.... do any of you guys on the interwebz know if I would be able to bring in my pen and ~40 ml of liquid? Anyone that has tried or passed customs there?

It's really hard to find any information about this.

Have a good time in Argentina, I wish I was going. Sorry but I have no idea about vaping there.

I would assume that if its banned that if you take it and they find it, that they will in the least take it from you. They might go as far as to confiscate it and charge you with some sort of fine or even incarcerate you.

You can google international e-cig laws or Argentinian laws and e-cigs. If you can I would even call or contact the American Embassy in Argentina as ask them if they can give you some information. Know your rights..... In America "rights" mean a lot more than in other countries so be careful.

Thanks! I've never heard of anyone getting incarcerated for having an e-cig, scary... It would suck bigtime if they took my gear, so I guess I'll just switch to analogs when I'm there. Any argentines on the forum that has experience? I've also read vapers in argentina order on the internet without problems...

I would mail vape gear to my hotel before leaving for the trip and inform the hotel I have a package coming before my arrival.

yeah... I don't know what to do really. a pack of cigs is 2 usd, ill be bad for two months
