Well, I finally broke down and ordered a mechanical mod. Didn't think I ever would. I bought a Nemesis clone (can't afford $200 for a battery holder) and a Fogger V3 from SlowTech. My main concern is will the Fogger function sufficiently on the Nemesis clone? I have heard both good and bad about both devices. But the good seemed to outweigh the bad. What's you guys thoughts on them? Now the wait begins :glare:

That's what's great about rebuildables and mechs, you can coil to suit your preferences. I usually try and hit .8 to 1 ohms for roughly 16 to 20 watts on a full batt.

That's about what I was going to shoot for. Maybe a little over 1 ohm. I've seen about 8 different ways to build the Fogger. I'm excited. Hopefully only 3-4 weeks to wait. :-\

I'm getting decent at making coils. The reason I asked the question was I have a MVP 2 and an IGO-L and the IGO will not fire on my MVP. I've fiddled with it a bunch it just won't fire. It'll fire fine on my VV3 and my SVD. The threads on the VV won't hold it well enough to get the cap off of the IGO. Just wanted to make use I wasn't going to run into a similar issue with the Nemesis clone and the Fogger.

I'm pretty sure you will be fine with the fogger v3 and nemmy, from what I've seen it is very similar to the v2. Also, I have a igo-l and I removed one of the o-rings, the top cap is a little loose but it makes it easier for rebuilds.

May have to try removing an o-ring. The IGO has been more frustrating than fun. Thanks for the tip.

I'm using a FT Nemesis and their Trident clone and it's a very nice vape! The Nemesis has the adjustable threaded 510 positive post so you can fit it accurately to the atty. Works well for setting it up but I've found that I sometimes loose contact during use and have to reset it. Happens to me maybe every second week, so I'm not worried about it ;).

Good luck with yours :thumb:

Ability!

If you have the ability to set things up properly, Absolutely. Most of your Horror stories come from people without the ability or grasp to do what is required. They heard about something new and great and expected to get something ready to go out of the box.

ADVANCED means just that.
Knowledgeable and Capable.

Nemesis is a great mod. I received one last week. Make sure you have good batteries and you will be set. My only issue with the Neme is that it is smaller than I thought it would be and I have huge hands. I also received a Chi You and I prefer the size of it. They are both stellar mods.

I'm always surprised by the size of the things I buy. The videos on YouTube etc make it all look big. Example, iTaste SVD I just purchased. I was expecting it to be bigger but it wasn't that big at all. Long, yes with a 18650 but not big.

I use a Fast Tech Nemesis and a Fogger v2. They work and look great together, they are both 22mm. The Fogger v3, however, is 23mm. I'm not a fan of having a tank that is bigger around than my mod. I use a Chi You Clone for 23mm devices.

I did notice that the v3 was a tad bigger than the v2 and the mod but I don't think that 1mm will be that big of a deal to me. If it does turn out that was I'll have to think about getting the Chi You. I thought about that one also.
