A couple weeks ago I got a 2 pack starter kit of these unamed ego vapes, one of them works great and the other one leaks and have little to know vapor. I looked at it and it appears to be ok , I compared the atomizer to the other one, the atomizer in the bad one appears to be broken, is this one junk or can it be fixed? This is a stardust that does not take wicks. Thanks for reading!

It definitely could be broken or only semi-functional. These type of clearomizers are so cheap, you're better off getting like 5-10 so you can quickly switch to another 1 if there's any problems. The CE4 / CE5 type go for $1-2 each w/ free shipping on ebay, and I've had good luck w/ them. Out of 10 so far, I had 1 bad 1 w/ these same symptoms you're describing - the coil just wouldn't heat up properly so there was barely any vapor at all. I drained it out and swapped, w/ no problems afterwards.

There are also the "serviceable" type clearos that have changeable coil packs...when one gets burnt/gooped up you simply open it up, unscrew the coil pack, replace with a working one and keep on trucking

You can then either rebuild the coil pack or throw it away...alot of vapers will end up rebuilding them but it's all personal preference
