I read the top coil needs to be broken in? Not 100% sure what that means..

Anyways just got it and let the liquid sit in it for 30 min turned it upside down a couple times to help the wick soak up the juice. Its like a chemical or plastic taste I am getting so far. The ry4 I am using in it didn't taste like that in my 510.

Just got an ego twist and the stardust as my first upgrade and so far a bad experience. Anyone else have this problem with the Stardust v2?

I wanted the vivi nova mini but they didnt have any at the shop so got this one.

Ok it does taste better when it is broken in. But from first hand experience I have found when you get a strong plastic taste and burn in your throat then the driptip or mouthpiece or whatever is screwed or pushed down to tight and or the little rubber nipple with the metal airhole is too long. When this happens it pinches the wick preventing the juice from wicking well and the rubber from the nipple sets very close to the coil when this happens so it burns it. Try 2 things, first try to loosen up your mouthpiece. If that doesn't work then take out the nipple and airhole with a paper clip and cut a small amount off the bottom to shorten it up some. You shouldn't get anymore plastic taste and it will wick much better. Be careful though if shortened to much it can cause it to leak out of the bottom.

As suggested try turning the voltage down and working your way up slowly. As for clearos I switched to the Vision Vivi Nova 6+ months ago- gave my clearos and heads away. Also what ohms is your clearo and what voltage are you vaping at?
When using new Clearos or Vivis I always wash and dry them first as some have reported machine oil in them.
