When prying, go gently around the pin. You only need to come up about a mm. (Can't believe I used a metric measurement) You may need to clean your 510 connector with alcohol if you can't get it to move at all. Sometimes the only way to tell it's moved is to check the connection to you tank. Just go slow.

I'll also vote for the MVP pin issue (FYI as an innokin army winner in good standing I can categorically state that it is a quality control issue -- happens on some but not on others) and would like to add that I have found the perfect tool for lifting it. A curve manicure scissors gets under the edge and makes it easy to lift.

I would also like to recommend Capt. shay's blog http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/blogs/capt-shay/6338-fixing-mvp-vv3-contact-issues-guide.html for long term repair options, and the thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...51-mvp-owners-group-into-next-generation.html for lots of good MVP info.

So I raised the center pin a tiny bit and replaced the o-ring in my MVP 2. The iClear still reads 3 ohm, now the Russian reads 0.0 ohm and won't fire. When I check the resistance without an atomizer on, sometimes it reads "NON" like it's supposed to, other times it will read 0.8-1.1. This is WITHOUT anything attached to the MVP 2.

What the hell is going on??

It's because of crap like this that I still have a pack of analogs in my desk :p

Update: Rebuilt the Russian 91 to 1.3 ohms. Still wouldn't fire. About 20 minutes later, to my surprise it read 1.3 and vaped beautifully! For about 10 minutes, now its back to 0.0 ohm and won't fire. I adjusted the center pin again and it fired for a little bit before going back down to 0.0 ohm.

OK. So the center pin is the problem. What can I do to fix this besides from adjusting the center pin and replacing the O-ring (both of which I've already done)?

I've got the exact same issue. I'll be checking back when I have more time to comment, and/or when I achieve some lasting results. Please do the same.
