So last night I did something stupid. Normally I carry my precious in a lanyard everywhere I go, but last night I wanted to be cool and carry it without. Everything was fine until at one point I had to void my bladder with some urgency. In searching for a place, my bronze scepter fell out of my front pocket, and struck a rock. I picked up the mod and discovered with dismay that the screen had broken neatly and popped out.

My ProVari, though now screenless, still works like a champ as ProVape and you fellow ProVarinati promised, and I'm now even more glad that this is the mod I chose.

So, that being said, since I was already looking at minis but now have excuse to buy one, which one should I get, I've been eyeing the stealth mini, it's very pricey but I like it ALOT. The only problem though is finding a suitable tank. I thought about the 'Lil Mama from Big Daddy Vapor and an IBTanked Halfling, but I have absolutely NO experience with Cartotanks.

I really like the nautilus, and the Nautilus Mini, but they are too shiny for the Stealth. If I buy a Mini that isn't the stealth, I won't have to worry about the shiny.

So in summary, how do I go about sending my Mod back to ProVape, and which Mini should I buy? I would love the Stealth, but matching tanks are hard to come by.

I think they'll replace your screen for like $10 or something. I could be wrong.

It's Stories like the OP's why when I'm Out-n-About, I leave my Provaries at Home.

For me, it was stories like this that caused me snag a couple used ProVari's on the cheap from the exchange, and use and carry them all the time. If i break one I have others to fall back on while one goes to see the Dr. Just got one back from Provape, and didn't even miss it while it was gone. Backups for the backups.
With a broken window, you can neatly cover the opening with a piece of packing tape, and keep on trucking with that ProVari till you get a backup in hand, then have it repaired at your leisure :thumb:

That clear packing tape might be able to pull the finish off the CeraKote ones. It'd be fine on the Polished, blasted & probably zencoats though.

Good tip on that one Ozwald, I've just been covering it with my thumb lol. I'll throw some scotch tape on that bad boy soon though.

So I dropped my ProVari again today and thought I broke my Nautilus. Turns out the connector pin of the Nautilus actually resides in a small cap just below the airflow control that can be removed and replaced at will.

I did not know that, thanks for the tip.

I've never tried personally, but I do know that CeraKote isn't as strong as some like to believe & that particular kind of tape has a very aggressive adhesive. It can pull paint off walls easily enough. I wouldn't risk it.

The toughness that CeraKote does have is in it's composition, not in it's adherence. It excels with high heat more than anything.

Super Gluing your Provari to your Hand seems a Tad Extreme.

I think a Simpler Solution would just be to Wrap the Provari in a couple of lavers of Bubble Wrap.

I thought they were shipped with glue on them already.

My dragon hasn't left my hand since it arrived.

When I was going to get a stealth provari I was planning on topping it with an Ibtanked cartotank. That's what I already use so it was a no brainier but I've seen pics of stealth provari with smoke glass/black anodized caps ibtanks and they're beautiful. Worth a shot. Cartotanks are great once you learn how to prime em up right.

IBT doesn't make smoked glass tanks. They do have the abyss, but that looks like garbage.
