alright so i got two of these tanks, the viva nova and the aspire bdc, both take the same coil but i cannot use them on my eGo-v v2 battery, it just burns the coils, and tastes horrible, i dont know what to do i cannot use this thing at all... so which tank should i go with cause these tanks are horrible and i'm running 3.4v which is way less then the tanks are rated for.

I have never used a Vivi nor an Aspire BDC. I mainly mess around with rebuildable atomizers now to get my personal tweakings as precise as possible, but I still always have a Kanger EVOD with me at all times in case one of my RBAs decides to be difficult.

There are really cheap and so are the replacement coils. They are polycarbonate tanks with a 1.6 mL capacity, so they're not huge, and they have the ability to crack from certain types of citrusy juices, but I still love them!

Well, anywhere between 1-3 weeks is normally how long an atty head with last.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought that Vivi Nova's were top coils and required capillary action (ejuice has to move up the wick to get vaporized, benefits from tilting the device), and that the Aspire BDC, was, well, a Bottom Dual Coil that uses gravity to keep the wick saturated...

Are you 100% they're interchangeable? Also, I have seen online that these coils often come in a range of different resistances. I.E. If you were to buy a 5pk of coil heads, you would get 2.4, 2.2, 2.0, 1.8, and 1.8 ohm coils. Maybe you accidentally popped in a 2.4 and the wattage is burning your juice?

yeah there 100% the same coils, i checked on there site, there both BDC tanks, pretty much same design but one holds more juice, the other tank i was looking at was the protank 3, but i will wait before i buy any thing else to see some more opinions cause i'm tried of wasting money on tanks to have them go out in no time,

Aspire are alright, but they have a major drawback : their production quality is very variable. In my experience.
I invested recently in 10 sets of atomizer heads for the Aspire BDC. I haven't blown through the entire stock, but so far some heads have lasted me weeks, and some just under a week (with as much maintenance as you can do. They are impossible to rebuild)

If you would like to try something different, Davide and Kanger are good companies to check out. The windows on the clearo's are glass so they have an added break risk, but their function is competent and the coil heads are more reliable/servicable.

I have a couple of Aspire BDCs that I mostly stopped using. As mentioned earlier the qc on the coils isn't the greatest. When you get a good one it's a great vape and lasts a long time, but if you get a bad one it might be horrible from the start or only last a few days.

Also the juice holes are tiny, so I have never been able to get a good vape with thick juices on these tanks.

I have 4 Aspire BDC tanks. Just as you, I was getting inconsistent vape from their factory replacement heads. So about a month ago I decided to tear down the heads and rebuild them. I built a single microcoil coming out to .8 ohms and this built does the trick. The amount of vapor and the flavor are astonishing. If you have any experience rebuilding I would suggest this method. It is extremely simple and pretty much eliminates the quality control issues associated w/ the Aspire replacement heads.
