Brushing up the skills

I have far grander plans than this, but need to refine rusty workshop skills.

I made a bottom feedable 510 connector out of parts from ft



which was one of these

$1.17 510 to 510 Adapter for E-Cigarette at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

with the pin removed, and in it's place I put a positive centre pin from these

$13.61 Cartomizers for Pyrex Glass DCT (10-Pack) 10-pack - 1.5 ± 0.2

that have a nice long post. The head on the pin was too thick, so I put it in a drill and wore it down with sand paper

For the honing skills version I'm using a reo bottle set up and vamo board, but plans are for an sx350 running a 26650 with bigger bottle

I'll share pics as i [slowly] go, waiting on parts ATM

making a tank of a mod now, it is huge. bottom fed 26650 that holds 15ml. my board should get here tomorrow, but post lately has been dodgy



i call it the loaded dog [henry lawson poem, and doffy is a variants of doggie]

i used a fatdaddy v3 510, 26650 holders also on their way from shapeways, one for battery, one for 15ml bottle

That thing looks massive! How would you even hold that??

But man I'm sure you'd be able to use that thing for a week straight without having to change batteries or drip...

bottles came today, i already had the stainless steel tube





it is press fitted very tight, but will epoxy in place. then clear tube either end to get the very last squonk on one end and connect to 510 the other

26650 battery holders finally came from shapeways. contacts are very tight to get in

need to tweak the bottle. i have tubing paid for and waiting at sc but mostly need this switch to come. board is hooked up negative to body, battery connectors not yet firm in







it isn't beautiful by any stretch

I like it, and you should get thru a whole day probably? Long battery life makes vaping more enjoyable, at least to me it does.

far from beautiful but it hits like a beast. the squnker kicks out juice quite fast so i have to remember it is just a short lite press of the bottle











haven't taken it above 26 watts yet, on a 0.4ohm dual coil

Thats pretty cool, and innovative for you first build congrats. Dont sweat the watts ohm thing, I run at .60 @ 5v dont need all that super low ohm stuff.

juice flows quite fast. it must be the physics of the huge bottle

i drilled out an igo w3 quad coil to bottom feed and am running that on it. it is mostly for those times of day i need a really hard hitting mod like after dinner, so the 26650 lasts days
