I will have to talk to their management next time I'm in BWW.
I think the biggest hurdle in our area is the lack of vapers, as I have only ran into cig-a-like wielders in the wild so far. BWW is a different kind of bar though, as they do a bulk of their business in food.
I haven't been to a TacoMac yet, as I have heard they are more known for beer than food. I don't like beer anyway. Try a Hickory Tavern, their food is crazy good for a bar.
Since every food establishment is non-smoking, I'm not sure where you could find a vape friendly locale.

Also, I think when Phillip Morris left Concord, they really turned many people off of cigarettes. Strange, as NC is a tobacco rich state. Not sure why people haven't looked at Kraft foods with the same discern.
TacoMac is vape friendly for sure, ive been there more than a few times and several different managers on duty asked all of them and they all say its cool. i usually always ask the manager on duty if its ok, but for whatever reason it wasnt on my list of things to do. maybe i'll see you ad madvapes lol
May be, but lately ive been content with mechanical mods and RBAs. MadVapes doesn't offer much in that area, unfortunately. They have a great selection though. I think myfreedomsmokes.com has much better juices, but a little more money. They are in Charlotte too.
Not sure how to put this....Ive visited NC in the past and to say that some areas are WAY behind the times is an understatement.
I was a corporate trainer eating with the rest of my company in the towns "nicest" seafood restaurant and ordered the Tuna steak special medium-rare. The waitresses mouth dropped open and in her thickest southern accent said " You caint aeat raow fish it'll keell ya"
I just laughed at her and told her to send the chef out who reluctanly cooked my dish the way I wanted it.
Point is you were obviously dealing with someone ignorant.Next time ask to speak to the g.m and show him how one works.If that dosnt get the job done then patronize somewhere else.

That's funny! I've been to VA and could say the same! Have to love NC though, its beautiful here.
Not all places are that way in NC though. I love Charlotte, not their politics, just the actual city and surrounding areas.
Oh I definitely agree.Its usually the more rural areas but thats not always the case.
I opened a restaurant in Harrisonburg Va with the same company I mentioned in the last post and during training we had someone ask if we would accept personal checks.
We told them certainly not and kinda laughed at the odd question.No one accepts personal checks in the city where we were from. 2 days after opening people were leaving checks on the table to pay for their meals without even asking if it was okay. Small towns often have their own way of doing things and question anything new.
Not intended as an insult in any way as thats part of their charm and some are indeed very beautiful.

Now we've moved to calling the uninformed and uneducated employee about vaping ignorant with a hint of small town bashing? (A new flavor!)
I come from and live in a small town. That is beauty to my wife and I before I even get to the landscape. My daughter has an accent and just received her CPA. My son also does and graduated from West Point this year and heading to med school. We enjoy the slow moving lifestyle and culture.
I was also under the impression by the OP's story that patrons were complaining. If a sweet elderly couple, pregnant woman, parents with small children, etc asked me to stop vaping in a restaraunt or public gathering place that I was earlier given permission to. I would without hesitation stop without a word. I would'nt try and explain or get in a pissing match. I would suggest that my discipline and respect would override any potential controversy. I'm 43 years old spent my lifetime in the USMC, I'm no coward and love to stand up for what is right but there are times when we must pick our battles.

Agreed! NYC has many places that still do not accept CCs! They have their own way of doing things too, strange as it may be.
I'm at an age where I didn't really use checks either, and for years people asked me how I paid bills and such. Online bill pay was a very new way of doing things.

Uninformed and uneducated is the textbook definition of the word ignorant. Im not bashing small towns as much as Im making an observation of regional colloquialisms and quirks. I consider myself a country boy and grew up in a small town but Im not so naive that I dont recognize both the pluses and minuses of that situation and in visiting new places.Each place you go to is different.
The Ops experience at ONE BW3s serves to illustrate that from my perspective and I agree with those posting that education, courtesy and respect go a long way.
If that happens again Id recommend speaking to the g.m or owner either then or later and taking the time to educate them and if they still dont want your business to go elsewhere.

I was in a Buffalo Wild Wings last night. Arkansas does not allow smoking in restaurants, and I didn't feel like trying to educate anyone on how vaping is different (especially since I'm so new to it). I didn't feel like going out in the cold to vape, so I just snuck a few quick drags in the restroom a couple of times during the evening. It wasn't my most pleasant vaping experience LOL, but it allowed me to get my nicotine fix without awkward conversations with management or frozen fingers and toes.
Another of many reasons not to go there. Ever tried to get a refill on your tea, or some extra napkins?
I used to work with a lady who said she liked them because they had great service. My circulatory system almost self destructed.
Srsly, vaping policies would be my last reason to never go to this dump. Hate 'em a lot, is that clear yet? Alright then.
