mods, please free to move this. I am not sure which area this general question belongs.

I have an Atmizoo Roller SS-M that I would like to "polish/buff" in the future. There are no deep scratches or anything like that, just general day to day use "Wear" marks here and there.

Is there a way to polish this type of Stainless Steel without it turning to a mirrored finish and maintaining the "matte/brushed" look?

Curious if it would involve a dremel (which I have) with certain tips or hand polishing with a solution of some sort.

Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Power is not always a good thing and in this case a Dremel is too much power. A Scotch-Brite pad can be used to buff out small marks leaving the brushed finish. Just go with the "grain" the finish already has. Put one end in a padded vice and buff it like you where shining a shoe. Biggest problem with a Dremel is the speed it run in such a small contact area, very difficult to keep an even finish. I use Scotch-Brite pads to restore stainless guns to looking like new.
