In the weeds.
It sounds like I'm a lazy oaf, but that's not the case, honestly!
I've read and researched, but when it comes to actually doing the shopping and ordering I know that I will spend days fretting over each item and I'll still wind up getting stuff I don't need or missing something I do need.

So I'm asking for a little help.

What I want is to make my own grape and mint/menthol juice at around 8mg strength. I like a vape that has a slightly sweet taste, plenty of flavor and a decent amount of vapor. I'm pretty happy with 80pg/20vg. and I would like to wind up with around 1 liter or more of finished product. If I can match the quality of an off the shelf e-juice, I'll be happy.

So, if anyone is willing to throw me a bone here.... Suggested sources, recommended supplies and recipes are all very much appreciated.

Disclaimer: Don't worry about my lab safety practices, I probably have handled more lab nasties than most people would dare. I take this stuff seriously!

I don't vape grape but hangsen flavors make decent flavoring. As far as supplies here are a few good places to shop but read my blog on the first time DYI'er first to get an idea of what you need

What you need to know as as far as supplies for the first time juicer.

Some good places to shop are:

Best Electronic Cigarettes and E-Liquid - MyFreedomSmokes.com for mixing supplies
Wizard Labs for NIC/PG/VG/Flavors
E Cig eGo, E juice, Mods, Cartomizers, Liquid Nicotine, DIY Flavorings flavorings
DIY E-Cig Supplies & E-Cigarette Liquid | Make Your Own E-Liquid | RTS Vapes flavorings
Electronic Cigarette, Clearomizer, USA e-Liquid, e-Cig Juice, DIY Flavors, Wholesale Nicotine, Empty Bottles for E-Liquid - ecigExpress flavorings

It wouldn't hurt to also read the following

Read my blogs before getting started

E-Cigarette Forum - dannyv45 - Blogs

then read hoosier's blogs.

E-Cigarette Forum - Hoosier - Blogs

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

I'm about three days ahead of you in this quest. I have overcome the hurdle of ordering my first set of goodies - NIC, VG, PG, and some flavorings. This is not a difficult part of the process. I know because I have already placed 3 separate orders with Wizard Labs in as many days. I looked at many of the available sources and found WL to be for me. Prices are great. Reputation is impeccable. Free shipping on orders over $65. And they are close to me down in Florida for short ship times. So far, even though I have not mixed my first batch, I am well pleased with this company.

Now why have I placed so many orders before mixing, you might ask.

It's Danny's fault.

As I continue to read his threads and his blogs, I discover something else that I think I will need or want as I set out to make the "perfect" juice. At first, just make some simple tobacco and another coffee flavor and I'm done. Nope, Now I am chasing the Starbucks white chocolate Frappuccino... something or other.

I must have said to my friend "yea, but Danny Says..." a dozen times lately.

Thanks Danny. I for one, appreciate the time, attention and interest you put into this forum. You have taught me a lot!

To all my new friends here on ECF: Read Danny's blogs and posts.

To the OP (original poster) Go for it! Make a decision and spend a little money.

As I look at this DIY thing, If I throw the first half of my endeavors down the drain - I am still many dollars ahead of buying retail juice. Who knows...I might just create that perfect ejuice (for me).
