I have recently increased my single coil builds to average about 1.5 using around 8 wraps with 28ga wire. It seems like my batteries aren't lasting as long as they were. Is that possible? I'm a heavy vapor and will use more batts if need be, just curious if going through 2-3 efest 18650's in a day of heavy vaping is the norm with a build like that. Thank you for any responses.

Well you should be getting better battery life if you increase you resistance, but I take it you are using the same wire with more wraps so it will take longer to heat up so you end up wasting more battery than you are using. Try using 30ga with 6 or 32ga with 4 and see what happens.
The Purple Efest is a re-wrapped LGHE2 isnt it? ...google it

My 35A Efest and my 30A VTC5's last about the same time and i would use 3 a day using only the one mod but that was at about 0.4Ω and the batteries werent new

I found that going a little hotter on my builds mean i dont have to hold the fire button as long to get a good vape and your batteries will last longer, if you are using a mech maybe try to aim for 2-3 sec pulls
