Build suggestions for a seasoned noob

Well, I was told by the fella who got me vaping that lower ohm produces more flavor and more cloud. I've noticed it to be pretty true, so I figure if .3 ohms gives me good flavor and clouds something like .15 would be even better. My logic could be flawed though.
I like the tanks. I played with a RDA and didn't like having to drip often, or the hit I got from it. That could also be due to the RDA itself. I did enjoy the tinkering and building, though. My best coils were .35.
I'm not really sure of the difference between regulated and unregulated, but I'm looking for a minimum 100 vw, temp control is nice but not a deal breaker for me. I looked myself and couldn't find anything in my price range, maybe I'm looking on the wrong sites?

Lower resistance just gives you more heat, and with 100w, you can get the same effect just by turning up the wattage, and not run thru your battery life as fast -- even slower if you actually increased the resistance of the coil.
