Build your own nemesis?

So I see that u can pretty much buy all the parts to make a nemesis yourself (colored tube, switch, lock ring, and top cap) Is there anything else you need?

Why arent more people doing this? I know its not a true nemmie since it isnt serialized but if the parts are from Atmomixani isnt it a real nemesis?

Just food for though since i just priced one out that way and it came to $130. Thats quite a bit cheaper than a "real" nemmie and no f5 war to get it.

After my mixed matte shows up, if i like it enough i might try this w some crazy color tube.

what do you all think?

I've thought about it. It sounds like a solid plan. I'm not sure though.

Same deal as building your own anything I guess, it's just cheaper

Ya i think I'm gunna piece one together soon. The parts can be almost as hard to find as the mod tho lol. Its those tubes....

I actually looked at doing this but at the time the Mixed Greek was still in stock.
One issue I do see is for the $130 price that it does lock you into one battery size. Also add in almost $30 in shipping fees it does start to get up there. The Mixed Greek stayed in stock for a long time.
Still a great way to get your foot in the door with a real Nemesis.
I do have the HCigar conterfeit as well as 2 real Nemmys and there is a big difference in quality. The fake sits in a box and serves no purpose other than to remind me to never ever buy a fake/clone again.

I have the hcigar nem and though its bogus it works really well for me. One day I'll get a real one to serve no purpose other than looking pretty on a desk because I'll drop it as much as I do my fake.

I didnt even think about that u could get a clone for much cheaper, but im past the clone days. My first mod was a nzonic clone and while it was a good clone i dont like that it isnt real. Good enough to learn on and i dont regret it but I wont buy another (unless its a caravela clone)

Agree about the single tube limitation but how often do u switch sizes? I pretty much only use 18650s but plan on keeping some 18350s handy to use w my nano kayfun.

So ya with shipping your looking at about $150, i still might do it when i refill my vape account.


I did see that there are some greeks still out there. But i wanted the mixeed matte. though about bying one and just brushing it myself. But after 4 days of searching everywhere i found the last one @ legadgets.com

they still have some nemmies in stock so give them a look if ur in the market

I pretty much go between 18490 & 650's and I just noticed they had the Mixed Greeks back in stock.
The 14500's do look interesting but I'm done buying mods for now. I need to start working on my atty collection.

I saw the tubes on atmomixani's page and thought about doing it but...really didn't see the point. No serial numbers, won't really match up (I don't like the coloring on the tubes), and (IMHO would look wonky). BTW I thought they weren't any new Nemesis's in stock too. Actually I was mistaken. I went to Vaperev (the actual physical store) and they had two two toned nemesis(es) in the case, brand new for sale. One was the Vaperev limited edition. The serial number was VR091 (uh really low) and the guy behind the desk informed me that it had been earmarked for an employee who ended up not wanting to get it, so they put it up in the showroom. My question was "well then how come when I go to your website it says you are out of stock?" Response: the online store has different inventory than the actual physical store. Ok. Anyways to cut to the chase I walked out of Vaperev with Vaperev nemesis no VR091, and this was two weeks ago.

Thats awesome man. As far as online the stock is pretty low everywhere. I almost settled for a greek edition cuz thats about all i could find. I found a vape pit but by the time i could buy later that day it was gone. There must just be onesies and twosies around. I wanted the mixed matte and was just gunna brush the polished tube on the vape pit edition myself but didnt wanna chance it.

I searched for 4 days and finally found one in malaysia. (thanks google translate!) It was the last mixed matte they had (possibly on the whole internet?) so i scooped it up without even sweating the ridiculous shipping prices. Well worth it IMO. Plus i just found out that the retailer has a way to verify authenticity if ever considering resell, not that i am. Just some comfort with the clone craze raging right now.

I wish i could visit some store to see what the stock is, but I am deployed overseas right now. I actually started vaping here so I havent had the luxury of visiting a B&M. Not too much longer tho. I have lots of presents for myself sitting at home awaiting my redeployment.
