Just so you know, if you are using a regulated mod resistance doesn't really matter very much. 100W from a 0.2 ohm coil set is the same as 100W from a 0.8 ohm coil set.

With regulated you primarily design the build for size of the coil not resistance.

Are you saying if I vaped 100w from a 1.5 ohm parallel dual build.. and a 100w from a .2ohm parallel dual build there would be no difference in the vape?

I figure I wouldn't be able to reach anywhere near that wattage with a build like a 1.5 ohm build.. so that's why I was building the way I was. I'm a cloud chaser and just prefer sub-ohm builds.

If you try to vape at 100w on a 1.5 ohm build you'll melt your wires

And as far as thicker wire goes, just note that as the wire gets thicker, it starts to have a substantially longer heat up and cool down time, thermal mass and what not

If that build covered the same area of wick and you had a mod that could push 12.25V then yes it would vape the same.

Edit: not quite the same. The thinner wire would heat up and cool down faster than the thick wire.

That's why I was comparing a 0.7 to a 0.2 ohm build. You only need 8.23V to hit 100W with a 0.7 build.

1.5ohm would be a bit high with the mods avaliable although I'm sure one will be along shortly that could do it. :)

The way vaping is advancing so rapidly I'd have to agree.. it's like every other day the next big thing is out.
