I don't know if this is the right place to start this thread so if not just let me know.
I've had numerous regulated box mods and and a few tube mods and I was looking at unregulated box mods. I don't want to pay the money I see them going for. I know I want to get a series box mod and then I ran across a site about building one. I looked on here trying to find a thread about building one and didn't find anything so I figured I'd start one. I have been researching them for a bit this evening and I have decided I want to build one. I've watch some YouTube videos and it doesn't look difficult. My question is does anybody have any opinions on what to get as far as the box, battery sleds, dual vs triple 18650, floating 510 connection vs non-floating 510, and everything else needed to build one? Anybody built them and could give me any heads up or any feedback I would need to know. Is buying a kit better than buying pieces separately? If so anybody have a website they have bought from? Cheap vs expensive. If there is anything I need to know that I haven't mentioned, please let me know.
I forgot to mention, I mainly use dripping attys and most of them are 24mm. I just got a 27mm Mason rda about a week or so ago and I have to say this is my favorite rda. I'm debating on getting a 30mm Mason to add to my collection so if anybody can add anything about a box being big enough to fit 30mm attys I'd appreciate it. I'm thinking the biggest rda I will own is a 30mm. I very seriously doubt I will get their 40mm RDA but never know. If I do it won't be an everyday atty. Thanks a bunch!
