I've now got my order in for a Kayfun Lite Plus V2, a Rocket V1, some kanthal, drip tips a and more eliquid to try. Also ordered a nautilus 5ml model and 10 BVC coils just in case I struggle with the coils. I have an ohm meter now and a few multimeters lying around I will get sorted out while waiting for delivery. Just need to get some cotton for the wicks and I think I'm all set. I'm not going to be to fussy to start as long as I get tight wrapped coils (micro coils I believe they are called), between 1.0 and 2.0ohms I'll be happy.
So it's get out the meters and check the batteries, then feet up for a couple of weeks waiting for the postman.

Got a really good pair of tweezers and some kind of torch? And some drill bits for different size coils? Have fun.

Just bought 2 pair of tweezers at the weekend, 1 pointed and 1 flat. Plenty of nail clippers lying around. And good point with the torch, I forgot that. I have one somewhere that runs on lighter butane gas that will be ok, I'll dig that out and make sure it's working. I'll check what drill bits I've got left but was planing on just a small screwdriver for that, I'll get the micrometer out to check what I have, planning on about 2mm inside dia of the coils.

I use a refillable torch lighter and it works fine. The batteries power range, wire thickness, target ohms, juice flavor, pg/vg ratio, and personal preferences of the resulting vapor all affect the coil diameter you use. You will have to experiment to dial your setup in for what you like. Drill bit sets can be had for cheap since quality doesn't matter. I have five bits that cover any coil I'll need to build. Otherwise, I think you're about setup. Once you start to zero in on a personally crafted build that gives the performance you like, it's very satisfying. Good luck and enjoy.

With all this kit I'm going to have/need I'm going to need to need a big tool chest to keep everything in. The wife is started to say I'm taking up too much room. HaHa.

Haha, I know what you mean. My Tupperware containers full of crap are getting out of control. I'm gonna have to clean out one of my pelican cases and figure out how to organize and store my vape gear in it. I even have a bunch of foam that came with the cases I could use if I want to be super OCD about it.
