try out 24 gauge 9 wrap on 3mm dual coil see how that is at 50 watts might not have the "mustard" to heat it up fast enough should clock in around 0.3-0.4 ohms

next I would try a 24 gauge 10 wrap on a 2mm - 0.3 ohm range

then I would do 26 gauge 8 wrap on a 2mm - 0.4 ohm range

i find smaller diameter builds work better at lower watts in my velocity

best part is velocity so easy to build and wick you can do all three of these and test them in about 30 minutes

I haven't tried the velocity yet (looks like it would be really good for vertical builds) but I usually do 9-10 wraps of 24 gauge kanthal and it does well at 50 watts and above. You can take longer drags at lower wattages, or push the button for a half second at 100-120 and get a quick warm rip. The post above with the link has me thinking I should use my 26 gauge more (basically surface area and heat flux trumps resistance on a VW device), but honestly more than 10-12 wraps is too long of a coil to fit on most of my RDAs without bending the leads in a weird way to center them.
