Built a quick and dirty Puck mod today. Need a cool no leaking 510 BCC rebuildable. Squape questions too.

Put this together today, except I had a bunch of rechargeable AA batteries so went a slightly larger route. Found an old phone wall box or something in my drawer and used that for the 510 connector, led and push button switch. Puck uses some sort of epoxy clay but I just used silicon sealant that I had on hand and it worked perfectly, in fact great, works perfect! I've been messing with rolling coils and using 4 AA batteries with between 3 and 3.2 ohm coil you are suppose to get 24 hours on one charge with four batteries in the pack. I'm impressed so hats off to Mr. Puck!

Anyway, I need a cool BCC that has a 510 connector. I've watched a ton of videos and the Squape looks the most like what I want, I mean, you don't have to dump the tank to tweak your build and all. Today I ordered a Davide BCC to have something on hand as it used the pro tank coils and I have been working on rebuilding them.

Anyway, suggestions on a tank if you please. I want a rebuildable one that is bottom coil and that you can take the bottom off and fiddle with your cotton and coil without having to empty it. Also, which Squape? I have read really good things and really bad things about almost all the clones. Even on Tebeco found some terrible reviews. Is the Winsmoke one good?

Which kind of AA battery are you using? My fave BCC is the Protank 3. I like the PT because the heads are easy to rebuild and work IMO as well as the Aspire heads which are not easy to rebuild and are more expensive. Nice thing about the PT3 is its dual coil and you can get a lot of vapor with low wattage PER Coil. A dual coil at 12 watts is only 6 watts per coil. So no big TH or burnt taste. If you decide to rebuild the heads use the NR-N-NR wire that you can buy for like $3.00 for 50-100. Get at least 3 ohms ones because when you go dual the total resistance will only be 1.5 ohms. The limit for most APV's.

Sorry NR-R-NR wire is a resistance wire with NO/Low resistance silver wire leads welded to the two sides.

I'm a top coil fan so I won't comment on BCCs but Congrats on your first Puck!!!

I've run my Pucks at around 2.8Ω, work's fine but the batteries don't last as long. Speaking of batteries, the NiMN rechargeable are 1.2 volts nominal, you can also use the NiZn which run 1.5 volts nominal, just cost a bit more. Boosts the voltage and will run a bit higher ohm topper.
