Finally after months of being nervous about the whole deal I made a mesh wick in an evod head using the pulse method. It's performing really well. I was curious is the experience better if I use a genesis? I got a did clone here I may break in tomorrow. I figure it would work better in a bcc figuring I don't have to do the genny tilt and it's constantly wet.

Congrats on finally making a ss wick! LOL But I hate to break it to ya.. the did clones aren't really good, especially on an EA mod. The bottom insulators are made of silicon and no matter how careful I am, I always seem to tighten the EA too much and push the pin up into the clone, causing a hard short. My did clone is awesome when it works but it's hard to keep it working with it's flimsy insulators. If you really want to get into the ss mesh devices, get an rsst.. super easy to setup and get to working properly. :)

Guys when I wash the evod heads with mesh do I just do hot water and dry burn like a silica wick?

I heard they last longer as well.

I do have an evod but can't seem to like it like everyone else does. I don't care for the flavor I'm getting. I didn't know you could put a ss mesh wick in an evod.. gonna have to give that a try this weekend. As far as cleaning it.. that's how I do my gennys.. I empty the juice, swish some water in the tank and rinse it all.. then I do a dry burn to get the water out and the coils glowing again.

Awesome Donna. I just wrap it like silica 5 wraps and pulse oxidize it with my EA. No problem at all.

I lost the little silicon thingy that goes in it.. so I cut a piece of a carto condom and it's working (I guess) fine. Maybe that is the rubber taste I'm getting though. I guess I'll order some more heads for it and see what I can do with it. I really want to like this little thing. so is your mesh touching the metal part?

Yup it is. Didn't have any problems with it. They gurgle so I had to add a piece or two of silica in top.
