Hi

Wanted to get peoples views on this before I make a decision. When I make juice I’ve got a recipe that I now stick to, so the mix of pg and vg is always the same. However, I find actually doing it irritating. I have a new set of 500ml VG and 500ml PG, can I mix as much together as possible, that meets my recipe mix and let it steep? I’d like the be in a position whereby I have a bulk amount of Pg/Vg mix, and everything I want to make a 100ml juice, I know o just need to put 65ml of my mix, add the 20ml nice and 15ml flav. Obviously I know the nic and flavour impacts the overall quality too, but I’m keen to understand if the theory for bulk vg/pg is ok?

Thanks
Graham

That is more than good. There won't be 'steeping' as such but you should have a well mixed bottle of what we sometimes call VPG in the UK.

I have been using VPG for a long time. It was how I first started mixing. It makes things a little quicker but more importantly you can make juice by

1. Measuring the Nicotine, syringe method
2. Measure the Flavor, syringe again
3. Top up bottle.

Only 2 measurings and you can fill to the very top of leave a little space (recommended) for the 'shake to vape'.... or steep it for zzzzz.

My 'bonus' in all this is that VPG pours easier the VG (thick) and PG (often gets messy coming out of a larger bottle).

Basically, you are a genius.

@Izan

You got me. :p I'm going back into training for a better belt for my Ninja-ing.

(Shouldn't you be doing something?)... I was fixing my car and then the rain came. We don't 'do' rain in the UK at the moment. We do heatwave. (Apparently...)

Settling down for a film instead. (Quick vapes instead of popcorn...of course). :)

Legend, thank you

You see @Izan.

You are a legend and I am nobody. If I'd written a shorter post and not used the word 'genius' in relation to the O.P.s idea I'd have got there before you mate.

I'll go and sulk in the garden. This time with cheeky Lime Cream Cheesecake.

(or should it be banana cream cheesecake...)

You mate ARE a legendary legend, wrapped in knowledge, anointed by experience and shrouded in mystery; Fighting for the ignorant against the forces of "vape" evil. Much respect!
First round is on me if you ever make it to Palma proper.

I CAN be much more verbose...but with the advent of tiny screens and short attention spans, I try to keep my suggestions short and focused.

Cheers

Both of you have been pretty great all these years selflessly helping others. Most days my knowledge base only allows for a simple Welcome, lol.

I have a new set of 500ml VG and 500ml
    Welcome and glad you joined.
Just a few suggestions, you may want to interimly store these two original containers in a clean dark cool place. I typically take a small amount (enough to make a few DIY batches) out of the original containers and transfer them to a more handy size. Open and closing the original container introduces oxygen and possible undesirable air born particles/contaminates. Premixing can be a good idea if you plan to quickly go through your liters worth, however, I found that my first VG/PG ratio is vastly different from my current VG/PG ratio.
One easy to remember rules about steeping/aging a mix: It starts the minute the last chemical is added to the finished mix. Some claim you can reduce the overall time of steep by "seed" steeping and other "proven" short cuts but then again, some others disagree.
