I tried looking for a thread discussing this but couldn't find anything. I'm still a noob here and haven't even recieved my new e-cig yet but I'm looking forward to it.

I've realized an wonderful benefit to vaping - I won't be bother to bum cigarettes anymore! I am constantly be guilted into lending cigs to co-workers or being harrassed on the street but the homeless to bum a cig. No more!

Does anyone have any stories about turning down those looking for a handout?

definately! i have been asked hundreds of times for analogs just walking around town, never mind when I have been forced outside to a specific area. i had a friend that wouldnt stop. I ended up having to say to them that I could afford to keep both of us smoking that he would have to buy his own. cant stand people who say they have given up when they have just given up buying their own:evil:

It is funny that you mentioned that, because I was standing outside of a Starbucks this evening, puffing away at my eCig, and a woman approached me and asked if she could purchase a cigarette. I told her what it was and she seemed somewhat confused, as if I were lying to her.. She walked off before I could go into detail. haha. Made me chuckle a bit. :D

I hadn't thought about it until now, but that is definitely something that I don't miss about smoking.. although it has come with a whole new set of burdens.. My friends ask to use my eCig whenever they are too cheap to go and buy a new pack, or too lazy to walk outside my flat. I guess a couple drops of eJuice are definitely less expensive than an analog.. but it is still pretty annoying. Guess there is no escaping it! hahah
