Bummed out

So I am a new member here, got interested because I wanted to stop dipping(weird from what everyone tells me). So I ordered myself a Vamo V5 and a Protank II for it, got it super fast. I went to refill my protank today and my dumbass hits the glass off the counter and it breaks I guess I gotta buy replacement glass now.

OUCH!!! Sorry to hear that, what a bummer... Do you have anything else to tie you over until you get a replacement?
If not, this is a perfect example of "Back-ups, and Back-ups for your back-ups.."
Seriously, you really should pick up a couple EVODs or a pair of ProTanks so you're never caught in a bad spot again! Even if it's a el`cheapo spinner starter kit or something similar... just in case! You just never know when you may need a spare battery either to get you thru.

Yeah I plan on getting backups, just didn't think I would need them that fast. Just the guys at work said its weird to go from dipping to smoking though its not really smoking. 2 days without dip though so I think it will work out.

Congrats on the 2 days.How much did you chew? I did a can a day of green griz for about 5 years, but smoked for a long time before then. This last time I switched back to smoking than the e cigarette. Working on year 2 now

It will work just stick with it. I used tobacco either smoking it or chewing it for 30 years and I've been good for two weeks straight. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Quitting chew is awful! I used to smoke 1&1/2 packs to 3 packs a day. When I'd switch from chew back to smokes it was 3 packs a day right off the bat. It has that much more nicotine in it. Stick with it, and keep some strong e liquid on hand. Your mouth will thank you. Some dip is worse that others, and some is pretty mild. There's a few folks on here that use Swedish Snus. Even been a few dippers who switched to that and felt better.

bennystrat has hit the nail on the head. This past week I have broken 2 clearos while cleaning them by busting out the center tubes because of a heavy hand. Thankfully, I have 20 more clearos, so no big loss.

not strange at all. Have a coworker who started vaping to stop dipping. Working for him too. I broke the glass on my tank the other day. Local shop had replacements for $4.00. As others have said always good to have a spare everything if your budget allows.

Hey man, I'm in the same boat. People also told me it was weird, but what they also said was quite a few folks around here actually do come here to stop dipping, and they all have very good insights as to how they did it. Sorry to hear about your glass breaking, but hopefully everything will work out. Good luck with quitting dip!
