BUMMER - First MOD (SVD) has issues

Just received my first mod, the SVD.

I am already used to their menu system as I have a itaste VV
Seems to have the issue that a few others are experiencing.
device often does not fire at all!
Sometimes the 4th try gets it going, but never consistently.

Tried to see if the button twists, and this does not make a difference.
If I Press the fire button on the bottom "edge" of the button it works a bit better , but not much

Also getting the electric hissing sound "pre-fire: that others have noticed.
No biggie but if you hold the mod next to your ear to listen for the normal "snake" this sounds more like electrical discharge!
Using AW 18650 and 350 with no difference

Tried with the new Innokin iClear 30B , which seems to be a nice clearomizer
Works well on my ego's with no issues, but super nice on the SVD... when it works

We'll see how the vendor is at exchange so I can update

I have been pretty fortunate with multiple vendors on most products , so the Odds are I was bound for a lemon

That is a bummer. So far I haven't had any such issues. Hopefully the vendor is good with returns.

Mine had a center pin issue that was 'fixed' by pulling it up a little to make contact with your atomizer. Ultimately, my button failed too. Shame, I liked the mod for the most part and really like the iclear30s.

Got the replacement !

Works like a champ
Smoking at 10W on my Aspire tanks.
Tried a few Kangar and they work real well so far.
