Burn taste, small vape, big vape, clean taste, and so on and so forth...

I have a question about the taste and consistency of vape...

So I use 3 different units right now, the Innokin MVP, Sigelei Vmax and the Joyetech eRoll, and I notice something with each unit. I'm wondering if this has to do with the units themselves or the ejuice.

What's happening is that at different times, with no adjustments to the units, the kind of vape that I'm getting is different. Sometimes its a really large cloud vape, other times the cloud is barely seen... And sometimes there's a mild burnt taste, and some no taste at all.

The fluctuations are very annoying. It usually makes me switch back and forth through voltages on my units (the ones that allow adjustment) until I get it to how I like it.

So I was just wondering if this has to do with maybe the varying life left in the batteries or perhaps the juice that's being use to begin with.

Any thoughts?

Well, do you mind giving us some more information?

What delivery devices are you using? How often does the density of the vapor change?

The delivery device plays a HUGE role in the vapor density, flavor, and quality of vape.

Also, I don't know about those specific PVs (personal vaporizers) you have, but on my ego twists.....as the battery loses its charge, the volts decrease, without switching/adjusting anything. I do believe many of the higher end VV/VW have protection against this....so that probably isn't your case.

With the delivery devices... the more you vape out of them, the more the coils become gunked. After a while, this will eventually cause need for replacement.

The Mod is only a battery if its VV and or VW you are able to control the amount of power going to the coil of your delivery system. Regulated mods give a more constant power threw out the life of the battery between charging over unregulated.

It sounds like you need to do some research try reading up on what ever delivery systems you like and you will have a better experience.

The MVP and Sigelei aren't the cause, because their voltage remains steady, regardless of the battery's charge state. The eRoll, I'm not sure.

The delivery system is likely the cause.

It's really hard to find a good clearo, or cartotank, that can keep the wick saturated, regardless of how much you draw from it.

Obviously, you should know by now when you've drawn from one so much, that you're into "burn hit" territory; I think everyone gets that.

I use a Kanger T2; an older unit that IMO works exceptionally well. People here mock having to twirl it to keep the wicks wet, but I can puff that sucker steadily for an hour, and never get a dry hit. It's a dark horse... It's cheap, easy to maintain, coils are replaceable, they hold 2.4 mL, and you can even try to rebuild the coil yourself if you feel adventurous. You can buy 4 of them, and spend less than any single newer systems out there.

Juice can be a factor too. Anything that's heavy in VG, causes problems. Some flavors leave a deposit, requiring more frequent maintenance, or coil replacement.
