Burned out on Research

I have been researching for days now and I am getting burned out. I am going to make my final decision and make a purchase tonight. But I still have some questions and confusions. I think I have settled on the Pure Smokers Ace KR808D - 1 . I tried searching on here for reviews but I did not see much. So do any of you have it? How is the battery life?? Are they a good supplier? Can you refill their cartomizers and how many times? I am not thrilled that the battery is manual but I thought I read somewhere that I can get more vapor and a better throat hit if i hold the button down longer. Will using cartomizers be more cost effective than using regular atomizers and cartridges ?

Does anyone know of any coupon codes for puresmoker?

I am a KR808D-1 lover although I did choose a different supplier.

Battery life is quite good, regular batteries lasting around five hours and the xl's last me closer to nine or ten.

Cartomizers can be easily refilled, I'd say I get an average of ten refills per cartomizer before discarding them. Some last longer and some less.

There are auto batteries for the KR8 but not sure about from that supplier, auto batteries tend to have a lighter draw and are not sealed so you have to be careful about any juice getting inside. You can certainly hit the button on the manual battery to take a longer draw. Not sure what the cut off times are on the ones you are ordering.

Never tried the other models so I cannot compare costs but I spend about 1/3 of what I did on cigarettes.

Here is the subforum for the supplier you are considering for more information. Puresmoker - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

I'm a V4L fan myself. Vapor4Life - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat

There are lots of KR808D-1 suppliers out there but to answer your questions without trying to push another supplier.....

Yes they are a good supplier. I have never used them myself yet but if you use the link that Taryn posted to their sub-forum here on ECF you will see they have plenty of happy customers.

Not sure about a coupon code off the top of my head but if you check that same sub-forum link you may find one there and if not just ask in one of the threads there and I'm sure someone will be able to help.

I love the model you're looking at, but I don't have that much experience. I just received my Kr808d-1 from Vapor4Life and I love it. I ordered the XL kit and they do offer a discount..enter smilin.
I got some sampler packs and ordered some different juices to refill some cartomizers. I mean, it's just easy to use and I'm learning too. The XL battery is supposed to last for 8 hours +...I haven't even drained it yet.
They threw in a car charger at no cost as well as a sampler pack and a bottle of jucie.(awesome steve!)
I guess it all comes down to personal preference... good luck with your purchase!!

Boy it would be nice if people could just answer a persons questions.
/end annoyance

for a beginner, which would be better, the manual or the auto? I think I would feel weird if i didnt just hold it like my old cigarettes

obviously being able to take a drag without pushing a button would feel more like a real cig but most people end up getting accustomed to the button so quickly they barely notice the difference. but everyone is different.

The 808 system is hard to beat IMO, it's simple, clean and quick and easy to change out carto's. The batteries I have used, from another vendor, have lasted quite well, five plus hours with the normals, eight plus hours with the XL's.
I went with auto's for the same reason, I wanted it natural, I like that, I don't even need one hand to have a hit, just hold it in my mouth, primer puff then draw on it. I doubt the manuals are any harder, but I want an easy transition and this has been it.

some of us just like to share info and help a newbie find his groove.

Which is great and nice and all......

when done on a thread where someone asks for those suggestions but uncalled for when done on a thread where someone is asking about a specific company.

But that isn't what this thread is about either so I won't say anything more about it. ;)

yeah, i have decided on V4L, now I just need to decide if i want the shorty, the reg or the xl....lol so many decisions! i want to just have it already!

The main difference between the three are size and battery life, I'm an xl fan myself very powerful and long lasting. But it is much longer and heavier than a cig, about the length of a pen and heavy.

I went with auto shorty ultimate ultimatium package to start out with everything I would need. I went with shorty auto to make change over from smoking analogs a little easier with the feel and length. Now I would like to step up to the next size and maybe even try a manual. Not sure about an XL yet, we'll see. Definantly get at least 2 batts to start. If you have the money go with 3 or 4.

I would get a protege kit $115ish and be done with having to get another pv later.
Dont worry about Feel of real cig,you would get over that REAL fast.
save money and just get what you will be getting later anyhoo:D
