Thanks very much for your support, guys and gals. All of you are great and your concern means a lot to me.

Some of the chemicals have worked out of my body and I am not quite as confused about everything now. I saw my doctor today and he has put off the chemo treatments until I completely recover from the last hospital stay. According to him, it will be at least another month or probably longer before my body can be built back up enough for them. So far he has kept the cancer from getting any worse and predicts that it should stay that way until then. So hopefully I can get back to some cartomizer design work during this grace period.

The coil in my latest and greatest cartomizer went bad for some reason while I as out of commission. I don't think I am capable of fixing it yet, but I may give it a try before long. Meanwhile, I'm not vaping as much as I did before and getting by OK with some of my older versions.

You kids behave, now. Just because you don't see me here don't mean I ain't keeping an eye on you.

I managed to replace the coil in my best cartomizer yesterday, which was a very slow and clumsy chore. I am happy with the results, even though the coil resistance is a wee bit too low and it's going through e-juice at a faster rate. My battery only puts out 3 volts, so I can't lower the voltage to compensate. About all I can do is shorten my draw, which can be easy to forget since the additional vapor and hit is always there for the taking. I'm not logging my daily juice consumption at the present time and afraid it will be more than my usual 6mL per day. I'll worry about that later on, heheh.

Today I did some maintenance on Peggy's cartomizer. She's happy with the renewed performance and that makes me happy too.

Tomorrow I'll be in Houston for an iron treatment. I don't remember why I have to have more iron, but it will be injected into an internal port installed in my jugular vein and will take about 7 hours.

I am getting mentally and physically stronger each day, but it is a very slow process. I still have a long way to go on both counts. I hope to begin lathe work on a new cartomizer before long. The plans I drew for it before going into the hospital show a promise for an improvement.

Let's see some more action on this thread. You kids do something, even if it's wrong.
