How long has it been since I finished building my last cartomizer? I don't remember, but it seems like a long time. Well, I began building another one right after that and just finished it yesterday. I ruined a lot of parts and wasted a lot of material doing it, but I didn't give up. This last one is skirted for a Spinner II battery, whereas the first one was skirted for a Hello 16 battery. Other that that, they're about the same.

I'm having a hard time making things now. My fingers feel like they have gone to sleep and loosing their strength. By days end they are so weak that I have a hard time pressing the battery button. This has not stopped me yet and I will begin building another one in the next day or so. Maybe today.

On the bright side, I ordered a rib eye steak in a restaurant a few days ago. While waiting for it I sipped on a Crown Royal & Seven. I began feeling a bit high after drinking about half of it, so I didn't finish it. Needless to say I vaped up a storm the whole time.

I do everything in slow motion now and it has taken about 40 minutes to type the above. That's one reason I don't say much here anymore. I read everything you kids say, though.

Wooooooooooooooo! whisky! Yeah now we're talking. Lately, my fave (other than Margaritas) has been Honey Whisky. Soooo smooooth. Whisky & Steak eating out is good stuff - especially seeing you and me live in Texas!
Hope you're doing better and hang tough!!
Hahahhaa Us Texans don't die - we just go to hell, they don't want us, so we all go to Heaven! Yeah!

Beautiful pic of the VietNam Memorial. It's sad that America doesn't really appreciate just what us vets have done. No, mostly, we're the Forgotten Ones - especially if there's controversial issues such as 'Agent Orange' or 'The Gulf War Illness'... Sad. Thanks of a 'grateful' nation... However, I'm sure many many of the ordinary folk like you and me DO appreciate what veterans have done for this country..

Thank you Katya! and coming from you, I know you're sincere. :) just like everyone else here. Good folks all around.
Not much new on vaping here, other than new vape shops popping up all over. Even the gas stations sell e-cigs and juice now.
I happened across a gas station in Granbury TX yesterday - selling 15ml bottles of juice for $2,- each! I was like, wow! Cheapest I've ever seen it. But I had no money (boooooooooooo!) at the time. But, like The Terminator.. I'll be back! heheheeeeee Can't miss out on a deal like that!

I've been working on a new cartomizer when I feel like it, but have not completed the first part of it yet. All I have done is make mistakes and throw away brass. If I live long enough to finish it, it will replace the one Peggy is using. Her old one has been pulled apart and pressed back together for rebuilds so many times that it's bound to start leaking before long. She got out of the hospital about a week or so ago and and has been very slow recovering, so has not been using it much lately.

You know what amazes me about you, BR? The fact that YOU build cartos that last! As we all know, cartos, CE-5, Tanks, etc. etc. whatever the vape shops are selling us - that crap doesn't last me longer than a few days. Here you go and make ones that last and last! And at your age and health - you are an inspiration to us all! You just hang in there and keep on vapin' man!

I do Twitter a lot (#AmyMadragana) so anyways, I get these occasional advert popups and it seems the latest craze in vaping (for the stoners, anyway) is an e-cig that claims to 'legally' allow you to get high. It shows the standard eGo battery and CE-5 tank. Anyone else heard of or seen them? O don't worry - I'm def NOT into messing around with vaping or smoking it. I'm very happy with my low nico juice that I mix up myself. It won't get a fly high.. hahahaaa!

It is true that some of my cartomizers last a long time, but my earlier designs did not and some of my latest ones do not. However, I keep trying to make slight improvements all along for longevity, better performance, less power, etc. I can't always do this, but when I am physically and mentally able, I believe this is one of the things that keep me going. I made up my mind many years ago that I would not be like some older folks who sit in a rocking chair on the front porch and die before their time.

The cartomizers we can buy today are slowly getting better in some respects. Every now and then it's because someone reinvents one of my old ideas. On the other hand, some of their new ideas are dumb and don't stay around for long. My fear is that some of these half vast ideas will be with us from now on.

Sad to say that Peggy had to go back in the hospital today. I don't believe things will be all that serious, but she will probably be there on Thanksgiving day. Don't know what will happen with the turkey, but I don't care much for them things, especially the leftovers, heheh.

Stick it in the oven and roast it. Leftovers rule!

And best wishes and Happy Thanksgiving to both of you!

BR also invented carto-tanks and what we now know as clearomizers. Have you seen his famous joose bottle mod??? :D

That old oven of ours has roasted so many turkeys that it probably knows how to do it all by itself, heheh. However, I will probably spend a good bit of Thanksgiving in the hospital with Peggy with turkey the farthest from my mind. Hope you have a great one.

Ah yes. The br bottle mod. How could I ever forget that great thread with all you guys, all the ideas, and half vast ideas? And the people in China reading everything we came up with and trying to manufacture it, good and bad.

Here's hoping that the two of you will have a nice holiday--wherever you are! Please give my best wishes to Peggy--from me and from the rest of the Dangerous Gang.

Pretty much everything that's being sold now has been invented by our clever modders. And that's the truth! So, BR, you and a few other smart people have contributed to the global advancement of vaping and probably saved countless lives in the process! How does that feel? :D

And how's that for a Thanksgiving thought? :)
