finally.....the voice of reason! I knew it would come from you...LOL OK...thankyou.....so really it is like everything else in vaping...we are all unique and just because someone else loves something doesn't mean we will. And my experience with these Stallion cartos just proves that...because these are top coil and essentially fillerless. I think they have a little ceramic cup in them that the horizontal coil sits in. Cool..so we are back on topic...LOL

Still using the same Stallion I started yesterday. I will use it until it die and then in the spirit of this thread and Katya...I will sacrifice it to the carto God and do an autopsy. If it becomes a Zombie carto and refuses to die...I'll do an autopsy anyway.

but wouldn't that be great if all this time..right under our noses is the almost perfect cartomizer? They appear to only come in 510 so KR8 users are out of luck. :( But if enough people asked them you never know...they might be willing to do a run of KR8's.

CES...are you interested in trying one? Tib? I'll just send one to Katya since I know she's not around atm. I hope she is OK? Give me some time to order some more but I'll try to get them in the mail next week.

tweety is very much preoccupied in the rw - she's hoping it's just a matter of a week or so but it could be longer ...... sigh

yup, i'd be interested in trying one but this time i'll go looking for my little evercool box mod so you can check out vv. i know it's here somewhere! :D

It's been crazy here... Sorry. Please excuse my long absence.

Just found a vapemail from Lori! WOOT! I'll try it later tonight.

Thanks Lorikay!!!!

Yes that is a lot cheaper than I paid for mine. Since tomorrow is my physical B-Day, I think I'll order some more - but I'll give fasttech a try first. Can't really go wrong for $2,65 now can we? LOL
Keep on tokin' (those PVs)..

Happy Belated Birthday Al!!!!!

Wow. I hope it wasn't too bad for you Katya! You know, I think it's been a SUCKY summer for many of us. I know I've had problems, but I just have to look at it as, "Thank GOD every day isn't like this - it's going to get better!"

Thanks Al!

Just the usual real life crap.

Hello! Yeah that was an interesting link. I used to live in NC. True 'tobacco country' if ever there was one..
I get SOOOO tired of reading "..concerns from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and others that they are not a proven and safe method for quitting smoking."
To that biased statement I have to say: "Hmmmmmmmmm. Let me quantify this:
- When I stopped smoking after 20 years, I was hacking terrible all day and all night. I was having trouble breathing and was always short of breath. My voice was hoarse and cracked. Eating food was like chewing on cardboard. I could not smell anything, not even that nice perfume that women wear..
2 days after I started 'smoking' electronic cigarettes, all that went away. Gone. Completely.
Now, I enjoy eating (perhaps too much!) things because they are so tasty! I can't walk down the air fresheners aisle in the store because the myriad of different aromas about knocks me down.
I have more money to spend these days...
So if that isn't 'safe or proven or effective', then, well, I guess I don't know what is..
But I liked the article. Thank you for posting it.
I tried the Blu e-cigs. They're not bad at all, really.
"If you can't beat them, then join them" is what I think the Big Tobacco's attitude towards e-cigs is now. I felt that if vaping really caught on, then it would eventually come to this.
And I smile when I see a TV advert for e-cigs. I really do!
I love vaping!!!

I'm so glad to see you're back Tweetie Pie. Things around here haven't been the the same during your absence. I hope you'll have time for us to see you here on a regular basis.

I haven't been doing so well lately and don't spend much time on the forum. However, I read the posts on this thread every so often to keep updated on what is happening.

((((BR))))

Hugs and kisses to you and Peggy! My thoughts are always with you, BR, even when I'm not posting. Take care of yourself. I hope you'll start feeling better soon! Are you facing more surgeries or is that part behind you?

Well..... I'm a terrible insomniac. Have had sleeping problems ever since Desert Storm I back in 1991. I have gone to bed as early as 6pm.. and late as 6am.
But I get by. That and lots of naps! LOL

Insomnia sucks...

You take care of yourself too, Al.

......................................................... Are you facing more surgeries or is that part behind you?

The surgeries should be behind me. The doctors tell me that I am getting strong enough to begin the next step of my ailments, which is treatment for a prostrate cancer that has returned.

I've already been radiated twice in this area, so that can't happen again. As a matter of fact, it's been too much and has made a mess of just about everything inside of me from the waist down. Therefore, the treatment will be hormone shots and chemo. I had a port installed for the chemo last Friday and treatment will begin this coming Thursday. The treatment will take 24 weeks.

I know this will knock me back down again, but no sweat. I know how to deal with that. I don't know how bad I'll feel though, so I'll just have to wait and find out. I'm a tough SOB, so I ain't gonna worry about it, heheh.
