My O my, I'm just full of updates today!
Yesterday (before going to Central Market) I took my friend (who has smoked heavily for at least 15 years) into the local brand new Vapor Depot store in Granbury.
He picked out a nice eGo, a few CE-5 Cartos, and an EVOD BCC. Also he got a mega size eGo battery. He got a 10ml bottle of Red (Marlboro flavour) e-juice.
He's a happy camper now! I have been trying to get him vaping for a few months now, and he's toked a few off my Genisis, and decided that vaping is much more healthy for him. Especially on his wallet!

So anyways, when my friend got his eGo kit and all that, I was over at the 'sample' counter vaping my head off!
After trying about 30 different flavours, I decided on 'Sweet Tobacco'..
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Very smooth and nice. I think I found my new vape nirvana...

Thank you for the congrats. I have always been a Tobacco flavour e-juicer ever since I started vaping. I have tried some of the .. shall we say, fruitsie flavours, etc. Not bad, but I prefer the Tobacco. I did like the e-Hookah flavour, but can't find anyone who sells it anymore. However, I did some mixing of my own and figured out that it was a blend of 'mixed berry' and 'mixed fruit'..

Thank you, Katya. I am just glad he's decided to stop smoking. He did try vaping awhile back, but the Genisis I gave him was a little bit too strong for him, so I had him try out the EVOD. That was more to his style, so when we saw the big ... billboard for 'Texas Vapor Depot' on the highway in Cresson, I told him we needed to hit them up and see what they had.
Good folks. They were not due to open for another hour, but when I knocked on their door, they said come on in and we'll open early just for you.
Wow.
That's customer service!

I live in Cresson, Texas.
O yea, and I trust Zelda's flying. At least I won't be strip searched and accused of being a 'terrorist'.. unless my Genisis Modd might be construed as a remote bomb detonator... Hmmmmmmmmmmm... LOL!

Well Boston sounds like a good middle location.





Bostonians are crazy about this band. They play here at sporting events and around the city a lot.

So, Zelda, do you live in Boston or Florida? For some odd reason, I thought you lived in Florida. I don't know why, though..
I am planning a trip to Virginia to see my family up there.
I hope to meet up with Tibs sometime that month while I'm in Lynchburg. Maybe there are others here who we could arrange a meet-up of some kind. Somewhere on the East Coast?
I don't travel very much these days - I keep it mostly near Dallas/Fort Worth, so this is a chance for me to meet some of you fine people on this Thread!

I live about 10 miles from Boston. Though I WISH I lived in Florida. I've never gotten used to the cold and snow here.



I wish I could meet up with you all but travelling anywhere right now is sort of difficult due to RW stuff.

Yea. I heard that one! It's still in the mid 90s here - but that's fixing to stop tomorrow, with some rain and a cold front coming. Hurricane Karen? Nope, that's not our issue now. Though we sure could use the rain! I've always wanted to visit Boston (but not in the Winter!). Maybe someday.
Somehow, I believe we'll all meet up somewhere. The Burning Cartos Gang. Yeah. That's us!

..so my order finally got here. I pulled out the bulb carto and tried it out. It works great if you put a small ball of cotton next to one end of the carto, so it can wick. Then with 1/8 inch of juice in it - great vape!
Nice vapour output as well.
I'm happy.

LOL! Yeah, I get irritable at times - life gets crazy sometimes. Vaping helps me a lot with that. When vaping isn't enough, well, then there's Margaritas to fall back on..
But I guess it's more of a relief that my order finally got here. Took long enough, but I think that was a special situation what with the Hong Kong Post Office new rules.

Yea. It's a lot like the EVOD - has a 'rebuildable' (as the Chinese call it) heater core. I've ordered a few more for it. I tried rebuilding the EVOD heater core, but using 32 Gage Kanthal and Stainless Steel Mesh wick, well, I need to re-think this one! I'm too used to the Genisis rebuildable Modd. I forgot that there is no copper wire in it, and.. well, I hardly think that 2 inches of 32 Gage wire will heat properly on 4,8 Volts. Nope, barely got warm.. LOL!

Hi Alz! So glad it's still working for you!

My friend TomCatt has a great tutorial on rebuilding eVod coils--but he uses cotton wicks. He says cotton tastes best.
