I need advice.
Got my VT40 and wanted to build a titanium coil for kayfun Lite V2 Plus. The only titanium G1 wire I have is 28AWG, while waiting for arrival of thicker titanium wire. I have problem of always burning out the wire when I build 5-8 wraps and firing before wicking. I only managed to turn it blue with 9 x 2mm wraps but sometimes still burning out when I accidentally and slightly overlap one of the wraps.
I set my VT40 to max 200 degree celcius and firing at 10W.
With these the lowest resistance I could get is around 0.5ohm.
What can I do to avoid burning out? Will thicker titanium wire help? Or change to Ni200?
