We have mostly tried epic juice flavors which are 40/60vg. We have a few flavors from smoque.net which are 50/50. I suppose its very possible we burnt them right off the bat. My buddy who has been vaping for a couple years is coming over for dinner tonight and bringing his gear. Going to find out if its the liquid or the coils. I have replacements if that is the case!

I'm also thinking its the high nic that is giving me a bad time. Its weird because sometimes I will get a decent hit...and other times its just awful.

I personally find that nic at 18mg really messes with flavours. I started at 18 after smoking for 30 years. I didnt mind the harshness, but flavours seemed muted over 0mg.
I dropped nic levels a few times since, and currently vape 6mg. I love it at six because flavour is great and I like to chain vape the diy juices that I mix, so no nic sick feeling.

It could be the coil. I just replaced mine from a 5 pack. It's supposed to be a 1.8 but my istick mod read it at 1.4 and I got a horrible throat burn and burning coil flavor even after priming the coil. I changed to another new coil and everything was fine. I hear that sometimes you get a coil that is a dud.

Was just saying how with my DIY juices I'm at 6mg and some 3mg made.
If I have a vape of a store bought 24mg many are like they have pepper juice in them.
Nic gives you a throat hit you read , Im thinking its just a harsh hit and not that much of a satisfactory hit.
For me I can and have lowered the nic , its helpful with devices and settings that put out a good amount of vapor/ and or flavour.

Oh and I forgot to mention, voltage plays a role here too. For my Nautilus tanks, I never go above 3.8 volts.
Everyone has their sweet spot; I prefer 4.1, or 4.2 volts with the new coils. The eliquid tastes better, and I get better vapor. Non variable voltage, Ego style batteries generally don't heat any higher than 3.8 volts. I started out with a Spinner over 2 years ago, and the CE4 clearos back then used to burn up at high voltages.
Just another reason why the Aspire Nautilus, and the Kanger Aerotanks are so popular...I love the Improved coils on both brands. :)

Yeah we did do the primer puffs. I could see little bubbles so I assume that means its going into the atomizer.

I'll pick up some 0mg this weekend and give that a try lol. I've smoked my fair share of other things but not recently. My throat just can't take it!
Watch out for high PG levels, too. PG makes my husband, and daughter cough like crazy, while not affecting me at all. Try a 50/50 blend; but I wouldn't advise going 100% VG because it's too thick for most tanks. You'll save big money buying your supplies online. Just browse through the eliquid reviews here for great flavors.

Did you check to make sure your coils are genuine Nautilus coils? There are many counterfeit products out there, including hardware.

Thanks all. Maybe I am a bit nuts!
Lol, you just want some flavor.
One thing I noticed in the picture of your Vision Spinner, is that it says "Vapros" on the battery where the word "Vision" should be.
I've purchased at least 10 Vision Spinners from different places over the years, and they all had Vision imprinted on them. I would check into that...

You know I noticed this too..... It seems to work just fine and looks identical to all the other vision spinner 2's I've seen. Hmmmm

Does vision have a legit site? I mean its not like I paid significantly less for these batteries compared to what I see elsewhere in the internet. They are all right around the same price.
