See, now I think you hit on something there.
There seems to be a enormous obssesion with cleaning going on here with attys.
I myself have been radically against this strange brew of soaking in a myriad of solutions for no good reason. I have also tried many and repented when one of them actually worked (**hangs head in shame**). but remember everytime you soak and so called clean an atty, imo, you have to now break it in again and let it perform as it was made. don't keep cleaning over and over. imo, atty's take time to fire back up. If you soaked and dried, it might not just fire back up right away, drip a little, vape a little, blow out and try again.
I have started new atty's and they have drawn hard in just ten days, but once I cleaned and ( I won't recomend, removed the wick under the coil) and had a little patience, they came back to life.
( note : I use a joye 510), some say removing the inner wick is not good, I've never had an atty the WAS good with it. To each his/her own. Best of luck.
