It could be a few things

1. if your coils are old and have not been cleaned on a regular basis, they could be dead and you need a new coil

2. if you are using darker, sweeter or higher pg juices; this could happen quicker

3. you could have the voltage/wattage up too high. Only if you have a vv or vw battery

4. higher pg juices could also cause a wicking issue

..............and to fix

1. buy a new coil
2. buy a new coil
3. check the resistance of your coil and check into safe wattage/voltage with that coil resistance
4. take un-powered hits to prime the coil between powered hits

also..........if ALL of your hits taste burnt, you will have to remove all the juice and discard, replace the coil and re-fill

Meh, no need to boil if you don't want to...I haven't had too much a problem with new attys. Of course, I mostly rebuild and my stuff is *clean* before it goes in.

Sometimes you need to prime the wicks. Just drip a drop or two on the wicks before you screw in the atomizer. This will help get the juices flowing and also usually eliminates the need for delaying your vape as long. Also, if you take more than a few "dry hits" like it sounds like you have, it's entirely possible to destroy a coil this way beyond repair. (If you pull it out, it's literally burnt and only possible to recover via rebuilding or replacement.) I would also add that I've had more than one out-of-box failure of those attys, so just be aware that's possible too.

Sounds like your solution is replacing the atty.

Since your battery isn't variable voltage, your options are a little bit more limited. Using darker liquids will require a lower voltage, and since yours is set to 3.7v, your resistance may need to increase on your replacement heads (using a higher ohm coil, preferably 2.0 ohms and higher). Also, from what you said, I assume you're using a fresh coil out of the box and if it's made by Kanger, there are the rare occasion that you get a bad coil or one that just doesn't work very well. You always want to make sure you purchase coil replacements from a known vendor such as Discountvapers.com.

If you're using a light colored e-juice, your ohms are higher than 2.0 and you're not taking extremely long or hard drags on your device, then the only reason I can imagine is that it's the coil you're using giving you the problems. That or it's your tank, so it'd be nice to know which tank you're using.
