Hi, Im running a dual coil Bellus clocking ~0.45Ω @ ~10W and 50/50 juice diluted down by about half in tank with a some pure VG. After a few hits I start getting burnt tastes. My guess is that the VG thickened up the juice which meant slower wicking and therefore not enough juice making it to the coil and therefore semi-dry hits. I added in some more PG which seemed to help but still could taste some burnage which may just be aftertaste.

Do you think my theory about the VG makes sense? Or is it perhaps my mod is not regulating quite as well as it should (mod is IPV D2)

i doubt it, what happens in RTAs or tanks is that the VG tends to be more liquid as the coils heat up and heats up the VG. if the wick is burnt then you're going to always taste abit of burnt taste. might want to consider re-wicking it. Also youtube some videos on the wicking of bellus. it's a pain to get the wicking right but when you do, the flavour and clouds can honestly be compared to some RDAs

Thanks for tip, reckon i will rewick. Ive gotten a good couple of weeks out of this wick.

On wicks, cotton seems to be the best all round performer but is there something else that really channels the juice to the coil to the max?

back in the day people used silica wicks, but as of now, cotton appears to be the best still
