Burnt Silo

Well my wonderful vaping experience on the Vmod was short lived. I have managed to burn up the silo cart within 20 minutes. Only I can do that,lol. Can this be fixed or should I start over with a fresh cart? Hate to watse a new cart.

I don't understand what went wrong as I did all the reading on here and watched U tube videos as well. I followed the instructions to a T and tilted the mod and squonked. At this point I'm clueless and so very bummed.

If it makes you feel better, I did that as well - haha! It was the only time I ever used a carto, so I figured it must have been me, too. I'm thinking my problem was not allowing the liquid enough time to absorb. I still used it an entire day, but I already gave it that slight burnt taste, so it's there to stay. I'm having a lot of success with the attys though. I can't figure out how people get them to last for months... I mean, my original one is still working, but people claim they still taste brand new 2-3 months in... I'm definitely not getting that. I rinse mine in hot water about every 2 days (my method is to put it in a coffee mug and boil it in the microwave for a few minutes, then let it air dry). Then I just swap it out after 7-10 days. Getting them to last longer would be awesome, but I figure 10 bucks on an atty and 5 bucks in juice every week... still less than half the cost of cigarettes... I'm happy

I was able to save the silo cart by squonking half the bottle up there. Lol, and yes it did get flooded but I just blew it out wiped up the mess and it worked perfect after that. I figure the burnt taste came because I wasn't keeping the cart wet enough. I have it down pat now. Tilt and squonk every few vapes.

I have not tried an atty yet because its working so perfect and I just want to keep it that way until I have to throw this cart away. After that I'll put an atty on it.
