Hi, first of all i am a noob at this diy stuffs but i am keen to learn. I dont understand the percentage analogy. I heard nice things about Lorann, and great things on other flavor brands. I used Lorann's cola about 1ml, 75ml vg, 3ml of 100mg/ml nic, 6ml tequila, 5ml sucralose, and 7ml pg. the cola does taste nice and is there for the first 1-2 second puffs. Great clouds. But if it was a looong drag it will taste slightly burnt. Not dry hit burn taste, but i am certain its a burnt flavor taste.
help me understand, what ingredient that makes out the burnt taste? I understand more pg means more taste, but i am trying to make a higher vg juice for clouds but just enough flavor so you are actually enjoying the puff. Not just tasteless clouds. I dont mind not strong pungent flavors but just not a fan of the burnt taste. The burnt taste is not strong tho, just enough to make the cola taste a little smokey nuttyish taste.
Same goes with my lorann grape. That familiar burnt taste is there. When i use bakels strawberry or honeydew its worse. So i diagnosed that its the flavoring that is burning. Either that or the sucralose? Thats the only thing i could think of.
Its not my rig, nor my builds. My goliath tastes just fine, my forge too, subtank a ok. My fav all day zeph gorgeous clouds. Its not my mod(s).
Lecture me if you need to, coz honestly i really dont understand the online juice calculator thingy. I know how to calculate the nic, so dont worry on that, i am not gonna kill myself. But i am just so so frustrated with this burnt taste.
Is it even possible to get sweet flavors from high vg diys? I bought vendor's 100% vg before. My flavors are out much better, but still burnt taste. The vendors doesnt taste burnt but the taste is not there, i could taste just a little sweetiness and hints of the blackcurrant. My grape tastes more but a little long drags i can taste that tiny burn. Same with the cola. Cloud wise great. No throat hits but after chain puffin i donget buzzed a little.
Any inputs from anyone i would appreciate it. Suggestions on recipes and formulas, comments on my formulas, suggestions on flavor brands etc i would love to hear.
