Hello there, I'm new to vaping, just got my EGO-CE5 recently, about 1-2 weeks.
So, I'm not a massive vaper, when I have some free time in the evening, I can calmly use one refill, but nothing more. The thing is that recently, with the coil full and cold, after 3-4 puffs it gets a burnt taste and stings the tongue and mouth with that. I've already checked everywhere and more than not having a clear solution, nobody explains to my exact model.
I use a no nicotine pineapple juice. I'm getting worried about buying a malfunctionate e-cig.
I would appreciate all help.

What is the pg/vg ratio of your liquids.
High Vg will wick slowly in a ce5 which will cause dryish burnt hits after a couple hits back to back.
Is your juice sweet?
Sweet liquids tend to gunk rapidly & caramelize / burn easily in a ce5.
Some ce5 have replaceable atomizer heads, maybe time to replace the head.

The CE5"s aren't designed to be long lasting, there's really no good way to clean the coil. It does get a buildup of gunk on it, that can cause the bad taste. If it's like the old ones that had the silicon wick, you could try a dry burn and rinse, but probably be easier to just replace it. They have small coils, small wire, doesn't take much to get a buildup of gunk on them.

I'm going to vote for some newer equipment as well. I was away from vaping (even dual use) for several years, and couldn't believe how far vaping technology has traveled. You can do better for yourself, fairly inexpensively. I'd recommend either a pico setup and./or an aspire zelos setup that comes with the Nautilus 2 tank which is an excellent starter tank for MTL and coils are fairly inexpensive. Very easy to operate, and it won't break the bank. I'd provide some links but it's Chinese New Year. If you decide to buy new equipment, sometimes vapecrawler.com can be helpful, it will provide you with decent pricing from both Chinese and American vape emporiums, and you can check out the costs of replacing your setups. It would be fine to keep using what you have if you can get replacement parts, having a backup vape to turn to if anything happens to your new setup can be useful.

Best of luck,

Anna
