So ive brought a new pack of 5 bvc and again im extremely disappointed. Im down to my last one and none of them has lasted over 2 days. I vape on 18mg nic strong menthol from halo (subzero) and i use 3.8 v on my 1600mah aspire vv. I suspect that there is gunk built up around the coil causing this problem. So does anyone have experience with cleaning these coils?! Maybe dry burning? Please i need answers! ive spent over 600$ on ecig and yet to find a lasting coil

This is what I do. Alcohol soak for an hour or so. Rinse with water and let dry overnight. dry burn several short presses, don't let it stay red hot to long. These can be dry burned but you have to be light handed on the button. Soak in alcohol again and rinse with water. Let dry again and you'll be good to go. I've done this twice so far with no ill tasting effects out of the coil heads.

Remember just be gingerly with the dry burn. Just let it get red for a split second a couple of times.

I have heard others recommend NOT dry burning these so I haven't tried it. I just do a hot water rinse and let them dry out. Seems to be working pretty well. Others advise soaking in everclear or some other cheap alcohol to remove previous flavor and gunk. I have been using a q tip in between flavor changes to swab out the gunk in the chimney of the head and it seems to be working well for me. I hope this has been a little helpful. Good luck!

i only have gin 40% alcohol , will this work? ive seen a video where someone dry burns and then takes puffs without inhaling about 8 times, then proceeds to vape normally and worked. anyone else dry burned the bvc?

I use vodka or even rubbing alcohol. Sometimes the vodka doesn't last that long though I really don't know why...

If you use rubbing alcohol just remember to rinse it off really good.

I think we need to be extra careful with dry burn on those. you can end up with something like this

My coils seem to go quicker when I burn to hot. This was a major problem for me when I first started. As my tast buds came back and I matured, I learned that most of the juices I liked didn't need near the wattage that I was using. Side effect my coils started lasting longer.
Everyone keeps talking about more wattage, I have found that there is a sweat spot for every juice, start low and work you way up slowly and find the spot it tastes the best.
