burnt taste on new carto

I filled a few cartos up... there brand new, i used one for one day and it seeemd dry so i refilled it once and now its extremly burtn tasting and it acually burns my throat really bad.

so i put that carto aside and tried another one i had filled this morning and it was the same???

I dont get whats happening at all.

i also filled a brand new empty one with new juice and it produces NO smoke and burns my throat!

and i tried one of the blu prefilled cartos with it and it workes fantasticly so it is deffinatly the cartos i filled my self only doing it!!! But i did it exactly as i read/ watched about on youtube and follwed the methods perfectly

It sounds like they weren't completely wet/filled. Which method to fill are you using?

i tried condom ..... and dripping

some of them the cotton got a bit messed up its not perfectly around the tube is this why?

I prefer syringe fill. You can measure out how much you need and you know it is getting where it needs to be.

yeah i bought a syringe too and i cant find it anywhere!

I think most pharmacies have them cheap. Unless the cotton was messed up around the coil I don't see that being the problem. Find the syringe grab a fresh carto and give that a try. Once they are burnt you can't do much to help them.

No matter which way you fill it. Unless you let it sit for at least 20 minutes then the juice didn't get completely spread around inside of the carto. Which will lead to a burnt carto. Also, it helps to give breaks (couple of minutes) in between every 5-10 hits to let it wick correctly. As for the ones that are burnt. I would highly recommend you tossing those since your inhaling real smoke now.

There are only so many ways that can happen
#1 carto not filled ... how many drops did you put in it?
#2 to low a resistance carto for the voltage used
#3 juice to thick to wick in the carto
#4 bad batch of cartos

That's not enough.
If you put 15 drops in a carto and let it sit for an hour it will look dry as a bone.

...in a standard Boge type carto, I can get 30drops from my bottles into it before the top turns slushy looking...which indicates it is full(the slushy look)...I don't use the condom fill BUT it usually takes 2-3 condoms 50-75% full to fill a Boge carto

Never used the condom method but, from what I've seen. One is good enough for a standard sized carto.

Okay so 30 drops in an empty one.... Should i do like 10 drops then wait a bit then 10 then wait..?

Also if 30 for a new one, ho wmuch to refill one i have been using for a day or so. And do i just top it up as soon as it looks dry?

will i know when its done? like wont take any more refills?

What madjack said .. and I like to plan in advance by filling and letting sit overnight .. insert toothpick in threaded end to block run out .. stand upright by inserting toothpick in styrofoam block .. 25 drops / wait a half hour / do another 5 drops .. let sit overnight ...

I've also noticed that some of my new cartos seem to have a very tight fiber fill, which sometimes slows the absorbing liquid ..

I put 10-15 drops and give a thermometer shake and repeat a time or two until, I get that "slushy" look to the filler...then set it aside for 30min rSo until I use it...I don't know how many ml/day you vape BUT, I vape around 5ml daily and with a Boge2.0ohm carto I only get around 2hours of vape time(not a day or so) before it just has to be topped up(around 20 drops)...any longer I run the risk of burning/singing the carto and having to toss it........
