There's no clear cartos for 808's to the best of my knowledge. If I were to break things down for you. When you want to fill by dripping. Do 5 drops at a time and let it sit for a minute or so before dripping more drops in there. After you get to 25 drops then stop. Usually I would say to stop when you see it drip from the bottom BUT, since I'm not to sure which battery you bought or any specifics. If you bought an unsealed automatic battery then this will be especially important. This is because if a drip of liquid were to enter the hole in the connection pin. That will kill the battery. If it's a "sealed" or manual battery then by all means. Fill it until you see it drip from the bottom. Blow out the access juice.

Then let it sit for at least 20 minutes before you attach it to the battery and take a pull. This will let the juice seep all throughout the filler material and reach the diaper (piece of cotton that's wrapped around the coil). That's Inside of the air tube of the cartomizer. Surrounded by the filler material. That way you will not get a dry hit or burn your cartomizer. This is also why you let it rest every 5-10 hits so the diaper can get soaked again. Since the diaper is the first thing that gets burnt since it's so close to the coil. When that is burnt then the filler material is going to be next. Furthermore, if you continue to vape it at this state. Then you will be inhaling smoke now due to the combination of burning cotton and polyfill.

I don't think i've seen anyone else ask but what type juice are you using? I swear by the cap method to fill a carto (I use the Boge 2ohm LR's) because it's quick and easy.

I get the best performance from clear thinner juices like ry4, menthol, ect... For a brand new carto I drip 30 drops into the cap, push the carto in slowly, and once it's soaked up (usually about 2-3 minutes) I remove the carto and drip another 10-15 drops into the cap and reincert the carto. Works like a charm and yesterday I went all day at work without refilling due to leaving my juice at home by mistake.

With the thicker / sweeter juices I notice that I have to refil more often probably due to it not wicking propertly as stated earlier. Hope this help!

A good question was brought up a few posts ago. What is the PG/VG mix that you are using right now. For example, 60/40, 50/50, etc. If you can only get 4 drops at a time then it sounds like your juice is pretty thick. So, it's probably best you stick to your current number of drops and let it sit for a few minutes or so. You can also speed up the process by shaking it like a thermometer.

Although, waiting for 20-30 minutes before use is still going to apply. It's also going to especially important for you to let it rest in between 5-10 pulls. Since you want it to wick correctly. Juices that are higher in VG have wicking issues when they are used in cartos. Also, you might have to top it off more often too. I find that juices that are higher in VG have a tendency to dry up faster in cartos for some reason.

There are some tips for you to know when to top it off. When you taste a slight decrease in flavor then it's time for you to add more drops.

I would highly recommend that you send an email either here: support@electronicstix.com or here: jason@electronicstix.com
Explain the problem that your having and if there is anything that can be done on there part to rectify the situation. Not sure of their warranty since the only thing I've ever bought from them were my 5V passthroughs.

Wow, that's horrible. Heard some people praising his shop and so, that's kind of surprising to hear. Glad your being honest about it though. Some vendors don't cover their cartos with warranties and it's to be expected. If you've never done business with CCV before then I highly encourage you to do so the next time you plan on stocking up on cartos.

Free shipping, gifts, and warranties on the 15 carto deals:

Crystal Clear Vaping

He even has pre-punched carto deals for the resurrectors for 4 dollars more then the regular ones. Which is a great deal for what it's worth.

When i put about 4 drops- 5 in it already starts to come out the bottom.

What madjack said .. and I like to plan in advance by filling and letting sit overnight .. insert toothpick in threaded end to block run out .. stand upright by inserting toothpick in styrofoam block .. 25 drops / wait a half hour / do another 5 drops .. let sit overnight ...

Ya, I got a few boxes of those cartos myself. After burning up a couple, throwing a first class temper tantrum, and using a few superlatives (that can't be mentioned) I discovered that what Uncle Willie suggested is the solution. It just takes them forever to absorb that first fill.
However I just leave the bottom condom on instead of using the toothpick.
Seems like Boge started using that filler material in about July, and the problem has bounced from vendor to vendor since.
