Hi, welcome to ECF,

Okay, it sounds like it isn't wicking fast enough to keep up with your vaping. This will cause the wick material to dry out and burn. You did not say what kind of tank you are using, but if it is one that has a changeable coil, then I would recommend pouring out your liquid, changing the coil, then cleaning and refilling the tank. This is usually caused (but not always) by using thick juices (higher VG content) as they don't wick as quickly as thinner juices (lower VG content).

You will probably have the same problem if you do this, unless you can fix the wicking problem too. Usually with a Protank style tank, you can take out part of the flavor wicks (see youtube or search the forums) and it will allow the tank to wick properly. You can also try diluting the juice just a little with a drop or two of distilled water, just be careful not to add too much. I would start with a drop and work my way up. As always, YMMV!

It sucks to lose a whole tank of juice, but if the flavor is burnt then the tank is likely contaminated and even a new coil won't fix the burnt taste.

HTH ... and good luck!

Great! Thank you so much. Can I ask you, how did you learn all of this? I have been trying to find this kind of information. Do I need to just painstakingly go through forums on this site or is there another way?

LOL ... you are welcome!

I learned by asking questions and reading through the forums. If you have questions, I recommend searching the forums first, it is very likely that someone else may have already asked the same (or similar) question. Be ready to read, searching will turn up a lot of GREAT information, some that may not be relevant now but might in the future. Of course, as always ... YMMV!

HTH
