burnt taste

my atomizer tastes burnt. I prime, I change. But still... burnt flavor. any suggestions?

Have you tried cleaning out the tank itself? Not just the coil/atty? I know it seems like a waste but dumping the leftover juice may help too. I had the same problem but a quick run of hot water and soap rinse dry and fresh juice and it was good to go.

If you are using a VV/VW device try turning it down, other than that since you have already tried a new coil, do as suggested above and give it a good cleaning, all parts of it.

the only time I've ever got a burn taste is from too little air flow (not sucking enough) combined with a little too much "pre-heating" of the coils before taking a drag

With any rebuildable, a burnt taste can be and is usually caused by to much cotten in the coil.
with premade atomizers set ups, there is a number of things that can cause this, most common is you have the voltage setting too high for the flavor, the left over juice in the tank is burnt, you had a couple bad atomizers (it happens they are overly mass produced), and last but not least you could be using the wrong ohm atomizer for the battery you are using.
