Ok, so I post a thread singing the praises of Johnson Creek juice and now.....nothing! Where did my Merango awesome strawberry flavor go??? I did clean the clearo just before filling it, had great vapor and flavor at first...then topped it off as it seamed with all of that vapor I was draining the ejuice rapidly. And now, just a tinge of flavor, if I'm lucky. Still, tons of vapor, just no flavor! Argh! Will I ever get the hang of this? Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong? Did I flood it? I should add: I am using an Apollo eGo with one of their bottom coil clearos. Thanks!

Maybe you should switch the flavor for a bit. Make sure you stay hydrated. This may help. A lot of times a juice that has a lot of flavor will taste differently if you vape it continuously. It doesn't really lose the flavor, your taste buds just change.

If you still get tons of vapor, you didn't flood the clearo. You didn't do anything wrong, so just hang in there! It will all "click" soon.

I did dry the wicks with a paper towel, they felt dry. And I vaped with awesome flavor and vapor for about 15 minutes, then it just seemed that the flavor was gone. The vapor was there, just no flavor. So, I put it down (LOL, step awaaayyyyy from the eGo) and I'm waiting to see if my tastebuds wake up. Also drinking water to rehydrate!

It's funny how true this is. My taste buds have definitely changed as I vape some flavors constantly. It's good to change flavors every once in a while.

What helps me is to brush my tongue and then drink a glass of water. I have also noticed that after I use my Neti pot for sinuses, some of the flavor of my e-juices return too.

Just think about it. Your tongue and your sinuses are coated with all that vapor you've been tooting.

Bingo . . . I can only eat so many strawberries, before they start to lose their flavor and appeal.

Could be "vaper's tongue". I've done it myself with a new flavor I really, really, really like. And think I'm close now 'cause I got a couple new widgets and was trying them out. Okay, I was playing with new toys. :)

Sometimes, seems you can "overload" your taste buds. Or stun them with the nicotine. Something like that. Either way, they go on strike for a while.

Definitely switch flavors. If every liquid seems weak or tasteless, that's probably vaper's tongue. One thing I read around here that helped me is watch out to not hit your tongue dead on with the vapor so much. I know that gets you lots and lots of tasty flavor but it also seems to just nuke your taste buds and then no liquid tastes good.

I did wonder why photos of experienced vapers they had their PVs off to the side of their mouths. 'Parently, the learned to not hit their tongues dead on! So, me too now.

(Except today I wasn't paying attention and my tongue feels really weird and my liquids all taste wrong. And I should know better after that last fiasco. I zapped my tongue so bad, it was a week before I could taste a juice again!)
